‘Oh no’ – Richard Keys embarrasses himself again with snide remark about Liverpool
It’s unbelievable that he can seem to do it with such worrying regularity, but Richard Keys has once again disgraced himself, this time with a Liverpool dig.
You could say that the Reds are currently in a new transition period and a big summer of transfers in and out awaits them.
Players aside, Jurgen Klopp and the board would be remiss if they didn’t take a look at the first-team staff when reviewing the season.
Perhaps in the back of their minds their throw-in coach Thomas Gronnemark will quit his job with the Anfield side at the end of the current season.
Whether or not he has been useful to the club is hard to fathom, especially as Liverpool struggled with throw-ins when they recently played against Nottingham Forest. However, it would be easier to point fingers and laugh at the Reds than to pat them on the back for their resourcefulness. Every little bit helps, right?
Gronnemark could have simply been thanked for his work and left silent, but Keys, the unattainable and irrelevant dinosaur he has become, couldn’t help himself, and the departure has now become big news.
He tweeted: ‘Oh no. What a coup at such a critical time in the season. Now you have to be a United fan for 4th place. ‘
if nothing else, he will surely have angered Liverpool players and staff enough with his pathetic comment that Man United will surely have to watch their backs for the last few games of the 2022/23 Premier League season.

Manuel Ugarte could fix two Jürgen Klopp issues as transfer’imminent’amid Liverpool links
Manuel Ugarte looks set to be on the move this summer amid reports suggesting he could be a target for Liverpool.
The Sporting CP midfielder has caught the eye with his performances for the Portuguese side this season, leading him to be linked with a host of Premier League clubs.
Portuguese outlet Record claims Liverpool is ready to enter talks for Ugarte, with the Reds reportedly ready to meet the $65m (£52m/€60m) as Sporting prepares to negotiate.

And Liverpool’s efforts to sign the 22-year-old will have been boosted by new comments from his agent, Jorge Chijane, who has revealed Ugarte is very likely to leave Sporting this summer, and is even hoping to have a deal in place in just over a couple of weeks.
“It is almost certain that he will leave,” Chijane told O Jogo (translated by 90min). “I’ll be in Lisbon soon. I trust Jorge Mendes, who is the best businessman in the world. In fact, when I told him about Ugarte for the first time, he said: ‘Your eyes are my eyes’.”
Asked about interest from Liverpool, Chijane added: “There is a lot of talk, but they are not the only club, there are others.
“There’s a lot of talk, but I’m still not sure about the club [Ugarte will join]. There are many hypotheses on the table. I believe that in 15 days the situation will be resolved.”
Among the other clubs said to be interested are Aston Villa, Newcastle, West Ham, Wolves and Tottenham. Arsenal have also reportedly sent scouts to watch him in action, although the Gunners look to have cooled their interest (via 90min).

Liverpool.com says: Liverpool’s summer business really looks to be taking shape as we approach the end of the current season. Reports have been building over recent weeks regarding potential additions, and many of them have featured the same names.
Ugarte is among those to have been touted as a strong possibility, and it’s easy to see why. Liverpool will be in need of at least a couple of new midfielders this summer, given the imminent departures of James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keïta and Arthur Melo, plus the disappointing performances that have arisen this season. Liverpool needs more quality at the base of the midfield and Ugarte can certainly offer that.
What’s more, amid the growing speculation regarding the likes of Alexis Mac Allister and Mason Mount, Ugarte will likely present a cheaper option, and at 22, can be seen as a long-term option for the club. There will no doubt be interest from elsewhere, and an early chance to put a marker down to the Reds’ Premier League rivals cannot be underestimated as Liverpool looks to claw its way back to the top next season.
