d ready to make right offer to sign £102.6m star
Victor Osimhen’s name is currently in the news as Manchester United are still looking for a top-flight striker.
The striker’s agent will meet Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis today, according to the current edition of La Gazzetta Dello Sport (press image below).
The Neapolitans want to keep their precious heritage, but if an “essential proposal” emerges that can help the team’s finances, it will be evaluated.
Beyond the questions about the “effective amount” needed to sell the Nigerian player this summer, De Laurentiis will propose a new contract to Osimhen’s agent.
According to GdS, Manchester United are waiting for the right moment to make the right offer to sign the 24-year-old, who is also wanted by Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea. The Italian champion has set a minimum asking price of 120m euros (£102.6m) for his sale.
Osimhen scored thirty-one goals in all competitions and twenty-six goals in Serie A last season, earning him the Golden Boot.
Since Robin van Persie accomplished this feat in the 2012-13 season, no Man Utd player has won the Premier League Golden Boot.
