In a landmark gesture of gratitude and support, Super Bowl MVP Peyton Manning and Pro Bowl safety Eric Berry — both legendary alumni of the University of Tennessee — have announced a multi-million dollar endowment to benefit the Tennessee Volunteers football program.
The two Hall of Fame-bound athletes are giving back to their alma mater with a gift aimed at creating lasting opportunities for future generations of Volunteers players. The endowment will help fund scholarships, enhance facilities, and provide additional support for player development both on and off the field.
“We owe so much to the University of Tennessee for shaping us into the men and athletes we became,” Manning said during the announcement. “This is our way of ensuring that the next generation of Volunteers has the resources and support they need to excel.”
Berry echoed those sentiments, adding, “Tennessee gave me a home, a family, and a platform. I’m proud to invest in its future.”
University officials hailed the gift as a transformative moment for the football program, noting it will bolster Tennessee’s competitiveness in the SEC and nationally for years to come.
More details on the structure and immediate impact of the endowment are expected to be released in the coming week ………Read more 👇👇
