Two-word Message  Delivered by Ryan Gravenberch’s Partner After Liverpool Return

Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch’s girlfriend, Cindy Peroti, celebrated his return to the team and his recent goal against Newcastle with a simple two-word message: “He’s back.”

Peroti shared the message on her Instagram story after watching him score a rare goal in a dramatic 3-2 victory. She also posted the same comment on his Instagram post about the game. This marked Gravenberch’s first game back with the team after a short absence. He missed the Community Shield match because Peroti had given birth to their first child the night before, and he then served a suspension for the first league game of the season.

The couple recently announced the birth of their baby girl on Instagram, receiving an outpouring of support from teammates and others in the football community. Players like Hugo Ekitike, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Curtis Jones commented on the post, while many others, including Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson, liked the announcement.

Gravenberch was arguably the surprise package of last season as he excelled in a defensive midfield role, playing in 37 of 38 Premier League matches in Slot’s first season at Anfield. However, his progress at the beginning of the new campaign has been put on hold for a very good reason.

First, the Dutchman was absent from the Liverpool squad that lost to Crystal Palace in the Community Shield. Cindy had given birth to their first child the night before. He then served a suspension that carried over from last season for last Friday’s league opener vs Bournemouth.

The couple confirmed the birth of his baby girl last week last Monday (August 18). In joint Instagram post that night, they shared a picture of themselves holding hands with their newborn and said: “Our little miracle has arrived.”

The heartwarming update has received plenty of attention from Liverpool teammates, their partners and other members of the football community.

‎Hugo Ekitike, Conor Bradley and Dominik Szoboszlai all commented heart eye emojis below the post. The Hungarian in particular knows the joy of such a family milestone having welcomed his first child with wife Borka Buszik earlier this summer.
Another new father among the Liverpool squad as of last October, Curtis Jones, also left heart emoji on Gravenberch’s post. His fiancé Saffie Khan added: “Perfect.”

Cody Gakpo liked the post while his partner Noa van der Bij commented a pink heart emoji.

Also showing their support by liking the midfielder and his partner’s post were Virgil van Dijk, Alexis Mac Allister, Stefan Bajcetic, Jeremie Frimpong, Andy Robertson, Vitezslav Jaros, Milos Kerkez, Wataru Endo, Harvey Elliott, Ibrahima Konate and James McConnell.

Fellow Dutch internationals – past and present – who interacted with the Gravenberch family update were former Liverpool pair Ryan Babel and Gini Wijnaldum as well as Jorrel Hato, Noa Lang and Justin Kluivert
