“Paige DeSorbo Breaks Her Silence: Why the Bravo Star Walked Away From ‘Summer House’ After 7 Seasons — The Gut-Wrenching Truth About Burnout, Boundaries, and Outgrowing Reality TV”

After seven unforgettable seasons of champagne toasts, late-night drama, and unforgettable summer weekends in the Hamptons, Paige DeSorbo has finally revealed the real reason she’s saying goodbye to Summer House.

The 31-year-old Bravo star, who first joined the cast in 2019, shocked fans earlier this summer when she confirmed she would not be returning for the show’s upcoming tenth season. At the time, her announcement left many wondering: why would one of the franchise’s most stylish and witty personalities walk away at the height of her reality TV fame?

Now, Paige is pulling back the curtain — and what she shares is both deeply personal and painfully relatable.

A Gut Feeling She Couldn’t Ignore

Paige admitted that her decision wasn’t sudden, but the result of months of reflection. “It was a gut feeling that kept growing stronger,” she explained. “I knew in my heart I couldn’t go back and give what the show deserves. If I forced it, I’d be doing a disservice to the cast, the viewers, and myself.”

For Paige, authenticity has always been a guiding principle. The thought of filming another season when her heart wasn’t in it felt dishonest.

The Hidden Toll of Reality TV

Behind the glamour of Bravo cameras, Paige said the pressure of having every move scrutinized eventually became overwhelming. From romantic relationships to career decisions, nothing was off-limits — and living in that constant spotlight took an emotional toll.

“I don’t regret sharing my life,” she clarified. “But people don’t realize the editing, the opinions, the constant commentary… it can wear you down.”

Burnout and Overcommitment

In addition to Summer House, Paige has been juggling a whirlwind schedule: co-hosting the wildly popular Giggly Squad podcast, launching her own sleepwear brand, going on tour, and writing a book. At one point, she admitted she simply didn’t have the energy to add a demanding Bravo filming schedule on top of everything else.

“I had to be honest with myself — I was burnt out,” she confessed.

Outgrowing the Party Lifestyle

Another major factor? Paige admitted her lifestyle has shifted. What once felt like fun — the non-stop parties, the chaotic weekends — now feels misaligned with where she’s at in life.

“The Hamptons party scene was my vibe for years,” she shared. “But now, I’m at a stage where I crave something different. I don’t want to just go through the motions on TV.”

Looking Ahead

Although Paige is closing the Summer House chapter, she’s quick to reassure fans that this isn’t goodbye. Between her fashion projects, her brand Daphne, and her podcast, she plans to stay connected with her audience — just on her own terms.

“I’ll always be grateful to Summer House for what it gave me,” she reflected. “But right now, stepping away feels like the healthiest and most authentic choice.”

For fans, her honesty may be bittersweet — but it’s also a reminder that even reality stars need boundaries, balance, and the courage to walk away when the spotlight no longer fits.
