Singer DELAROSA Shot Dead in Los Angeles in Ambush-Style Killing
A rising Latin music artist known as DELAROSA has been fatally shot in Los Angeles during what authorities are calling an “ambush-style” attack. The 22-year-old, whose real name was Maria De La Rosa, was killed while sitting in a parked car in the Northridge neighborhood.
What Happened
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the shooting occurred in the early hours of November 22, 2025, around 1:25 a.m. Witnesses told police that two men approached her vehicle — which was parked on Bryant Street — and opened fire. Multiple rounds were fired, striking three people in the car.

Maria De La Rosa, better known as DELAROSA, had recently made waves in the Latin music scene. She released a single called “No Me Llames” (“Don’t Call Me”) in August 2025. With over 40,000 followers on Instagram, she was building a strong online presence and had been teasing more music in her social posts.
Aftermath
De La Rosa was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. Two other men in the car were critically injured; their identities have not yet been released.
