    Chelsea willing to sanction Trevoh Chalobah transfer this summer amid Inter Milan interest

    Chelsea are ready to approve the transfer of Trevoh Chalobah this summer due to interest from Inter Milan

    The 24-year-old is ready to fight for a place with the Blues but wants to play first-team football as he aims to make his England debut.

    Helsea are ready to sell Trevoh Chalobah this summer if the right offer arises.

    Standard Sport understands Chalobah is behind fellow centre-backs Thiago Silva, Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile and Levi Colwill in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

    New coach Mauricio Pochettino only wants four centre-backs in the first team next season.

    The club have decided to listen to offers and potentially approve the 24-year-old’s departure if the price is right.

    Last month, Standard Sport reported that Inter Milan would like to sign Chalobah, valuing the defender at around £25m. Other clubs are also interested in an offer.

    While Chalobah is ready to fight for his place at Chelsea and has been training in good spirits under Pochettino this week, he wants to play regular first-team football as he aims to make his England debut before the Champions League. Euro 2024 next summer.

    The player and the club agree that if a mutually beneficial transfer proposal is received, he can leave.

    Chalobah featured in all nine of goalkeeper Frank Lampard’s games at the end of last season, but played sporadically under Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter.
