Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has included youngsters Dan Gore and Joe Hugill in his squad for tomorrow night’s Champions League clash with Galatasaray.

The academy graduates, who have no Champions League experience, are two of 22 players that Ten Hag has included in his travelling squad for the trip to Turkey. United face a must-win encounter at Rams Park, knowing that anything but three points could end their hopes of progressing to the last-16.

United are currently bottom of Group A after their first four matches, of which they have lost three and won just one. United squandered the lead twice in their last European outing, losing 4-3 to FC Copenhagen

Rasmus Hojlund, who scored twice that evening, is available for selection after missing Sunday’s 3-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park. He missed the trip to Merseyside because of a muscle problem he sustained during United’s 1-0 win over Luton Town prior to the international break.

The striker, who has scored five Champions League goals so far this term, has been joined in the travelling squad by Antony, who also missed the win over Everton at the weekend through injury. He was forced to pull out of the squad after encountering a minor knock.

Elsewhere, Kobbie Mainoo, as expected, will be involved, joining the likes of Scott McTominay, Bruno Fernandes and Sofyan Amrabat in the pool of midfielders who have been selected. Mason Mount remains unavailable through injury.

Marcus Rashford, who ended his goal drought against Everton, will miss the trip to Turkey through suspension after being sent-off in the defeat to Copenhagen earlier this month. He was handed a one-match ban last week.
