Even though it’s no secret that Manchester City are buying Savinho from Troyes, it seems there are still some details being sorted by the City Group to conclude the deal.
Some updates are now brought by TNT Sports, who claims that the English club shall pay between €20m and €30m for the transfer.
It’s said the numbers will depend on the Financial Fair Play, as Manchester City want to offer the ‘market value’ to ‘avoid punishments’.
With the City Group being in control of both clubs, there are obviously some eyes on how this transfer is being handled, especially because of the success Savinho has been having lately.
Troyes only spent €6.5m to sign Savinho from Atlético Mineiro in 2022. They loaned him to PSV in his first year there, and then to Girona, where he has seven goals and seven assists in 28 appearances this season.
That was enough for the City Group to finally decide he deserves a chance to play for Manchester City, and there are a few months until they need to sort that operation completely, clearly thinking very carefully about how to go about it properly.
