Azurite Sea Lorcana League Promos + Set Championship Card Error Shown
With the update of the official app we were treated to the last of the missing Azurite Sea cards – and a few extras!
Though it’s not officially confirmed, five new promo cards are available in the app. One has the layout and style of the last set champs card with both the Enchanted and promo logo.
The other four are from Azurite Sea with the promo logo and white Lore symbols used for printing foil cards. Four promo cards in a Lorcana League is the standard, so these are all but confirmed.
If you haven’t seen yet, check the full Azurite Sea card list or find your new deck using the Lorcana card database with everything fully added.
Azurite Sea Set Championships Promo Error
First up is Scar – Heartless Hunter with wonderful new full art from Alexandria Neonakis. The card should also make for an incredible playmat.
The card is fairly powerful, and has the effect of Teeth and Ambitions built in. With three Lore he’s a big quester but 2 Willpower is a serious drawback. It’s great to have a card that’s playable in the meta as it makes winning one for a deck a nice goal.
Scar – Heartless Hunter – Set Championship Promo
If you’ve been paying close attention to the card reveals, you’ll remember the original Scar – Heartless Hunter wasn’t inkable but this one is. This is an issue with the card in the app and likely also the version that has been printed for the Set Championships in English.
Checking in the app you can see that the standard set and Set Champ versions in French, German, and Italian all don’t have the Inkwell symbol either. That means this one should get an official errata to clarify all versions aren’t inkable.
Scar – Heartless Hunter
We’ve seen little things like this in cards before like the erratas from The First Chapter, the Lorcana League Hei Hei – Boat Snack with the old Support wording, and the Ursula – Deceiver of All cards that have Storyborn instead of Dreamborn.
We assume the cards are already printed, and that if it’s made it to the app, they also have this issue. Printing takes place many months ahead of cards being available, and there is only a short period where corrections can be made. Scrapping and reprinting something like this is a tall order and often just not possible.
Set Champs promos seem to be printed on the same sheet as Enchanted cards in the main set. We’ve seen them pulled from main set packs and seen overprints to show the cards next to them as some evidence.
In this case – like with HeiHei – as it’s a one-off event, this is probably just how the card will stay with no reprints. Errors like this can be worth more, but generally it’s when the same version has some with the error and some without where they get expensive.
Azurite Sea Lorcana League Promo Cards
Four more promos are versions from the main set, and make sense to be the cards available at Lorcana League events. Wasabi – Methodical Engineer is a pretty good card as anti-item tech or a last-minute Lore grab if Dime leaves you one away from a win.
Minnie Mouse – Pirate Lookout – League Promo is originally Super Rare and actually makes a pretty good card for Location-focused decks. The other three promos are all Uncommon in the main set.

Honey Lemon – Chemical Genius could see some play in Discard decks but Rescue Rangers Away! probably won’t see much. However, the art is a wonderful intro for the Chip ‘n’ Dale: Rescue Rangers franchise this set.
We’ve now got promos 1 to 15 in Promo Set 2, plus the latest Moana movie tie-in promo at 26. That’s a big chunk of promo slots to fill.
