    Mohammed Salah Injury Update
After all the hoopla that followed, you’ll be excused for forgetting that Mohamed Salah was hurt when Liverpool played Chelsea in the FA Cup final. He suffered a thigh injury during the first half and left the game, missing the subsequent league contest. In the season finale against Wolves, he didn’t get the start, but Liverpool needed him in the second half when it seemed like they would pull off a shock victory. The whole Champions League final match against Real Madrid had him playing.

Salah wasn’t at his peak despite pushing himself for the pivotal games at the end of the season. Salah left Liverpool after his responsibilities there to join Egypt to participate in an AFCON qualifier against Guinea.

Mohamed Abou El Ela, ‌a physician with the Egypt National Team, discussed Salah’s present health.

Salah suffered an adductor muscle injury during the FA Cup final, played against Wolves, and then participated in the Champions League final all within a span of 14 days, according to him.

“We send and get medical reports for players, and Liverpool’s said he felt pain and should undergo an x-ray; the player isn’t 100 percent healthy, but the question is whether he can push himself and play without risking anything,

“The club decided that one game would be sufficient, and we decided to play Guinea because it would be difficult for him to travel to Ethiopia for the second game due to the long flight. After three days, he was unable to play another game.

Therefore, it’s not the best representation of Liverpool, even though he was healthy enough to play at least once for his nation. Although it didn’t turn out the way he had hoped, Klopp did attempt to give him the next two Premier League games off. And no one wanted a rematch with Real Madrid in the Champions League final more than Salah.

Salah will then take a break before returning to the team for preseason practice. Hopefully the rest will be sufficient to restore his top physical condition in time for the upcoming season.
