Bruno Fernandes stepped up in the nick of time for Manchester United as the captain’s last-minute goal secured a 1-0 win over Fulham that will ease the pressure on under-fire manager Erik ten Hag somewhat.
After Man United’s victory, Bruno Fernandes said, “Not that happy,” about the Everton supporters
As of right now, Bruno Fernandes has been talking about Alejandro Garnacho’s incredible goal for Manchester United versus Everton.
Speaking following United’s unexpected 3-0 victory at Goodison Park, Fernandes observed that the Everton supporters weren’t exactly joyful the entire time.
Fernandes did, however, believe that for a brief while the home crowd may have been cheered up.
After the game, Fernandes spoke with Sky Sports and speculated that fans may have even celebrated Garnacho’s magnificent goal on the home terraces.
He said: “Everton fans were not that happy, but I think even they enjoy these kind of things.”
Of course, Garnacho’s goal was one for the ages, and even he has now admitted his surprise.
Garnacho said: “I can’t believe it to be honest. I didn’t see how I scored, I just listened to the crowd and said, ‘Oh my god!’
“It’s one of the best goals I’ve ever scored. It’s still November, but probably [one of goals of the season].”
And despite Bruno’s optimism, it’s unlikely that Everton fans were too impressed at going one goal behind against United in any fashion.
Bruno Fernandes thought even Everton fans may have enjoyed United’s opener
It was certainly a frustrating evening for Everton, losing a match so emphatically on the scoreline despite their domination at times.
However, it really was a tale of finishing, and United’s front line finally showed a lethal streak.
Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, and Anthony Martial have all squandered far too many opportunities in the past.
However, everyone adjusted their strategy at Goodison Park to secure three outstanding points.
The opinion that Michael Owen has now expressed regarding Garnacho’s goal will also be discussed for a while.
The goal was almost exactly like Wayne Rooney’s, and it didn’t seem like it would ever be surpassed.
Bruno Fernandes, though, wouldn’t have said that Everton supporters were witnessing a United classic if he didn’t think it ranked high enough.
In any case, Everton had a terrible night as three points were taken from them by a disciplined United team.
