Arsenal are getting mixed injury reports as their goalscorer is set to return this weekend, but there’s still no sign of a key player
EDDIE NKETIAH is back in training with Arsenal and could be available for Sunday’s trip to West Ham.
The 23-year-old forward has missed his side’s last seven games with an ankle injury sustained in last month’s 4-0 win against Everton.

But now he’s back in full training and his return is a boost for coach Mikel Arteta with an eye to the remaining eight games.
Nketiah has scored nine times this season, including six when he replaced the injured Gabriel Jesus after the World Cup.
Jesus is approaching motorcycling and has scored in Prem’s last two games, but the return of Nketiah gives Arsenal plenty of attacking options as they look to hold on to their six-point lead at the top of the Premier League.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta reportedly seemed unhappy with Ben White’s performance.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta reportedly seemed unhappy with Ben White’s performance. This is even after he gave the ball away to the Liverpool players.
Andy Robertson also managed to hit the target. Mikel Arteta will also be sad after his side let the 2-0 lead slip away.
ARSENAL MANAGER DOESN’T SEEM HAPPY ABOUT BEN WHITE’S MISTAKES
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta reportedly showed his frustration after Ben White gave up possession. Ben White’s easy pass also gave Andy Robertson the chance to shoot. Nor was Ben White the only man guilty of giving away easy possession. After leading 2-0 in the first 30 minutes, they failed to manage the game properly at Anfield.
Thus, Liverpool managed a 2-2 draw against Arsenal. They could also have won the match. However, Gunners keeper Aaron Ramsdale made two brilliant saves to ensure the Gunners took at least 1 point. Therefore, the point also means Manchester City are now six points behind the Gunners in second place.
THE GUNNERS MUST WIN EVERY PREMIER LEAGUE MATCH
Arsenal must now win every Premier League game. They also have a game advantage over Manchester City. However, they also face them at Etihad. As such, the Gunners need to make sure they win the rest of the games to prepare for a potential loss at Etihad. They are also hoping to have William Saliba fit for the rest of the season.
Arsenal defender William Saliba missed the match against Liverpool with a back injury.
However, he and Eddie Nketiah move into fitness. The break for them due to their elimination from the Europa League should also benefit them and the rest of the team. The Gunners face relegation by threatening West Ham in their next Premier League match. Martin Ødegaard on #LIVARS: “It was a crazy match. We started very well. We controlled the game for the first 40 minutes before the goal. After his goal, the game changed a bit and we couldn’t keep the ball.”
For Arsenal, however, every game from here is like a cup final for the rest of the season. Manchester City have the players who can easily overturn a 6-pointer with the right opportunities. Therefore, Mikel Arteta and his players will try to make sure they don’t give them the right opportunity.
But there is no sign of defender William Saliba, who has missed Arsenal’s last three games with a back injury.
The French centre-back was sorely missed in Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Liverpool.
The Gunners gave up a two-goal lead, allowing Manchester City to close the gap at the top of the table.
Now Arteta is desperate to get Saliba back in action in time for the potential title decision at the Etihad on April 26. The Frenchman’s partnership with Gabriel was key to Arsenal’s Prem challenge for the crown.
But after three weeks of training it is highly unlikely that he will be available for Sunday’s game against struggling West Ham.
The Hammers meet Genk on Thursday evening in the first leg of their Europa Conference League quarter-final.

David James makes new Premier League title prediction with Arsenal and Manchester City
Former Liverpool goalkeeper David James has claimed Erling Haaland could be an obstacle in Manchester City’s bid to beat Arsenal in the Premier League title race this season.
James thinks the distribution of goals across the team might be more beneficial to a team’s chances of winning the league than having one player score all the goals. Haaland has been City’s top scorer this season with 28 goals in 26 league appearances.
Phil Foden is second with nine goals in 24 Premier League games. Arsenal, on the other hand, have three players who have scored 10 or more La Liga goals this season – Gabriel Martinelli (13), Bukayo Saka (12) and Martin Odegaard (10).
James told Topratedcasinos (h/t Metro):
“The reality is that the top scorers don’t win the league. Man City have the top scorer… but I think that hurts the team’s productivity. If you look at Arsenal, Bukayo Saka is their top scorer, but Gabriel Martinelli and Eddie Nketiah all shared the goals, just like City did last season when they won the league.
The former England keeper added:
“Now that Man City have this number nine, I think it would have been more beneficial to spread the goals this season than to have this dominant player. I still think Arsenal are the favorites to win the league.

James concluded:
“It would almost take a catastrophic failure on Arsenal’s part for City to win the league. Obviously City are playing against Arsenal, which gives them a great chance, but it is up to Arsenal to lose.”
The Gunners have 69 points from 28 games so far this season, eight more than runners-up Manchester City who have a game in hand. James’s aforementioned comments, meanwhile, are true up to a point.
The top goalscorers of the last nine Premier League seasons have not come from teams that have won the Scudetto. Arsenal vs Manchester City showdown at Etihad could be crucial in PL title race
Arsenal’s bid for their first Premier League title since the 2003/04 season could culminate in their league game against Manchester City on April 26.
The fact that Cityzens will be playing at Etihad automatically gives them an edge in the game. The North London giants haven’t beaten City in the Premier League since December 2015.
Manager Mikel Arteta will be hoping his former club drop a few points ahead of the clash of the two teams at the end of April. The Sky Blues are also active in the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup. The Gunners, meanwhile, have only the league to focus on after being knocked out of all cup competitions this season.
