Meanwhile, speculation over Frenkie de Jong’s future continues to bubble away. The Dutchman has previously been linked with Chelsea, Manchester United and Spurs, but Laporta predicts the 26-year-old midfielder will remain at the club.
“Frenkie de Jong is super happy here,” Laporta claimed. “The last thing he wants is to leave Barcelona.
