Deal finalized – Man United ready to agree £97.5m terms

According to media rumours, Marcus Rashford and Manchester United are in the process of agreeing a huge deal worth £97.5million.

The Sun have exclusively reported that the England international is close to signing a deal which will earn him £375,000-a-week or $97.5m for the next five years.

According to a British outlet, De Gea is currently the highest paid at Old Trafford but United have offered him a pay cut.

If the Spain international agrees to the new deal (for £200,000-a-week), he and Rashford will essentially receive the same wages.

The 25-year-old England international enjoyed his best year to date last season. In 56 appearances for Erik ten Hag, the dynamic star scored 30 goals in all competitions and provided 11 assists.

The Three Lions forward deserves a hefty pay rise as he has won the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award.

De Gea, on the other hand, had most clean sheets last season, but after several lackluster campaigns, this has been his best year yet.
