Fans calls for William Saliba to be sold after he published an article that angered some Arsenal fans

Sell William Saliba? The fans have spoken!! The Gunners are one of the best teams in Europe in the title race against Manchester City. After losing to them in one of the biggest games of the Premier League season this year, things have come together again. The game at Etihad might as well be a title tie.

It was a back and forth battle between Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola. And the winner could now have the edge in this intense title race. That said, Manchester City are the team to beat right now. And it looks like it’s a task not even mighty Real Madrid could accomplish in the Champions League semi-final first leg.

Despite this, much attention has been paid to Arsenal and their young squad. They have buckets of talent that are just starting out. Some generations, some just special, the group is the one every manager wants to be around. And William Saliba is one of those names in those ranks.

Why did Arsenal fans take to Twitter to demand William Saliba be sold!?
Well, the Frenchman recently published an article. He has had a new gym installed in his north London home. So this got all the Gooners all over the world talking.

But not all responses have been happy and joyful. Some were just trolls and chatter. And that’s how we love them, the fans, I mean!! haha!!

And the reason for their misfortune was simply this!!

Peaky Blinders is a whole cult nobody can convince me otherwise 😂

There’s no way the centre-back will be sold; He is one of the key elements of this line of defense!!

Well, joking aside, William Saliba is not for sale. Arsenal fans love him and love a good joke. So there is NO WAY IN HELL for him to go anywhere. And the facts are simple. The North London giants’ defense is in dire straits if the former Marseille player doesn’t play!!

Look at the numbers!!

Arsenal have conceded 34 goals. This season, nine of them have played the last five games since William Saliba’s injury 🤯

Well that’s it. It’s all fun and games until it comes to Peaky Blinders. But we have to accept our players with all their weaknesses, right? So, William Saliba, be forgiven!! Haha!!

Either way, I hope the defensive superstar can recover quickly and return before the end of the current season. The title race is still on and losing the title to Manchester City has always been and always will be!!

One Arsenal star that is a favourite to leave the club this summer

Update on Rob Holding’s Arsenal future ahead of next season.

One Arsenal star who has been dropped from the starting eleven over the last couple of matches is now expected to leave the Gunners this summer.

Arsenal centre-back, Rob Holding commenced all of the games since William Saliba picked up his injury, up until the victory against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium last week. Since then Jakub Kiwior has come in and Arsenal have won the last two games, looking more convincing than ever before.

This has put Rob Holding’s future in jeopardy ahead of the summer transfer window.

It’s been widely reported by sports media, that Mikel Arteta will look to add quality in depth this summer ahead of a return to the Champions League for Arsenal next season and one position high up the list is a new centre-back.

The gunners have stumbled in recent weeks since William Saliba’s injury and one reason is because of the lack of quality in depth Mikel Arteta has in certain positions. The Arsenal boss is keen to make sure the same thing doesn’t happen next season, regardless if Arsenal end up Premier League champions come the end of May.

Pundit Ian Wright has labelled the criticism aimed at Holding as unfair, with the Premier League title chase swinging in Manchester City’s favour.

“For some reasons now, simply because Rob Holding has come in to fill the gap of William Saliba – which is very tough – he’s getting a lot of stick, which is unfair.

I feel Arsenal and other certain players have dropped their standards which makes mistakes, but for some reason, you blame Rob Holding.”

The gunners prepared to have their biggest ever summer transfer window

Also David Jones has given his opinion on the Arsenal centre-back by saying he believes Rob Holding is a great professional who gives everything for the club, however he’s simply does not have the ability required for a team trying to win the Premier League.

Futhermore, when asked if Holding was the centre-back most likely to leave Arsenal this summer, Jones told reporters:

“I’m sure there’s some danger there. We know Holding’s limitations, but he’s given everything to try and raise his game for this season. I think everyone will appreciate that.”

Despite eventually being dropped for Kiwior in Arteta’s starting XI, Holding has received praise from former Arsenal legend and captain Tony Adams after he stepped up in the place of the injured Sailba last month.

“I love Holding to bits because he has a nice attitude, but I watched his last two games against Crystal Palace and Leeds, and he hardly touched the ball. He was so satisfied playing in a team full of confidence and working together as a unit that I reckoned I could have done that job — and I’m 56 years old!”

With Gabriel and William Saliba forming a superb centre-back partnership this season and the likes of Jakub Kiwior and one new centre-back set to join the club ahead of next season, it looks Rob Holding’s Arsenal future could be up, inspite the benefits of what he brings to the dressing room.
