Harry Kane sends a warning message to Man United fans ahead of the Champions League match as he targets Tottenham

Harry Kane has subtly criticized his former club Tottenham by suggesting he now plays for Bayern Munich, who operate with a “big club mentality”. The England captain joined the Allianz Arena in a £100m deal and has established himself in Bavaria, scoring three goals in as many Bundesliga matches.

Kane’s goal is to help Bayern win a 12th consecutive Bundesliga championship, which would be the first major honor of his career. With the Champions League final at Wembley and the Euro 2024 final in Germany, Kane could have the chance to win silverware at both his old and new home having seen many of his England teammates win the top prize.

The 30-year-old has narrowly missed out on silverware a few times during his time at Tottenham. However, he now believes his chances of achieving clear success at club level have improved by joining a team where nothing less than success is accepted. “We wanted to win against Spurs, but if you go a few games without winning it’s not a disaster,” Kane said. At Bayern, you have to win every match. He made his comments ahead of England’s Euro 2024 qualifying match against Ukraine in Poland, highlighting the mentality of the top clubs.

He also spoke about the upcoming Champions League final at Wembley and the Euros in Germany next summer, expressing his desire to achieve this. Kane admitted that as a player, he felt heartbroken when his England team-mates played in the Champions League while he watched the match from home. He wants these experiences and is motivated to push himself to win the same titles as his teammates.
