HERE WE GO: £90M Superstar finally agreed to join Man united after turning down PSG lucrative offer, player set for Man united Medical this week

Paris Saint-Germain are trying to rival Manchester United in the race to sign Atalanta starlet Rasmus Hojlund.

The Ligue 1 champions are also on the market for a new striker and are offering Hojlund a higher salary package than the Premier League giants.

However, Italian transfer news expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Red Devils remain ahead in the race to land Hojlund’s signature as the youngster prefers a move to Old Trafford over the French capital.

Hojlund emerged as a primary target for Man United after the Red Devils were priced out of a move for Erik ten Hag’s dream striker Harry Kane.

The English giants have laid the groundwork to finalise a move for Hojlund, but Atalanta’s eye-watering asking price continues to make the transfer complicated.

The Serie A giants are reluctant to part ways with their prized asset following an eye-catching breakout season, but Man United are insistent on landing his signature.

La Dea had initially slapped a €100 million asking price on the highly-rated Danish youngster. They have since lowered their demands but will not go below the €80m mark.

Hojlund has been touted as the next big thing in European football, but Man United are reluctant to match Atalanta’s exorbitant demands.

The Red Devils are only willing to go as high as €70m plus bonuses. They are hoping Hojlund’s desire to ply his trade in the Theatre of Dreams will force Atalanta to reconsider their demands.

PSG were looking to take advantage of the difference in valuation between both clubs to overtake Man United, but Hojlund wants to join the record English champions.

Les Parisiens are also trying to convince Tottenham Hotspur to sell Kane to them instead of Bayern Munich, who remain confident of landing the Englishman’s signature despite the late threat from their French counterparts.

PSG also retain an interest in Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic who is open to the move after falling out of favour at the Allianz Stadium.

Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe left in ‘frustrating’ situation by Glazer family

Manchester United are still under the control of the Glazers and the delay in their takeover of Old Trafford is “bad news” for potential buyers of the club, journalist Ben Jacobs told GIVEMESPORT.
Although the current owners of the Red Devils announced last November that they were “starting a process to explore strategic alternatives” – which could include selling the Red Devils – a hierarchical change does not yet appear imminent.

Manchester United Latest News – Update on Takeover

According to The Athletic, there is a feeling Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani’s bid to buy Manchester United is still ongoing, despite his intentions to take 100% control of the Premier League giants. The report suggests that the Qataris, who are spearheading the Nine Two Foundation’s bid, have not contacted Raine Group, even though they were hired by the Glazers to oversee the acquisition process.

Sheikh Jassim launched a final offer last month and it is said he could turn his attention to buying a domestic rival if his bid to pick up the keys to Old Trafford fails.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has met the Glazer family for talks and remains interested in buying Manchester United, but on different terms.

Billionaire Ineos is willing to keep Joel and Avram Glazer on board as the structure of its offer has met opposition from minority shareholders.
Respected journalist Jacobs recently told GIVEMESPORT that the transfer budget handed to Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag will not be affected if a takeover is completed before the summer window closes.

What did Ben Jacobs say about a Man United takeover?

Jacobs believes Manchester United may not change hands until the transfer window has already closed or is in the final stages, meaning the new owners won’t have time to improve the squad.
The journalist believes the development will have disappointed Sheikh Jassim and Ratcliffe as they were keen to make an immediate impact.

Jacobs told GIVEMESPORT: “The good news for Manchester United is that they have been able to move in the transfer market, which has always been the case, regardless of the potential new owner.” “But the bad news for Manchester United in terms of long-term clarity is that the window could potentially close, or be about to close, before a potential new owner – if they join – has their say on the matter.”

“For the current Manchester United recruitment team, it may not affect the plan that comes into this window of opportunity, but it is extremely frustrating for Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe because when they have started this process, they planned a lot.” be able to assign this window. Now, it doesn’t look like that will be the case.

What next for Man United?

Manchester United enjoyed an outstanding first season under ten Hag, with data from Transfermarkt showing they won 42 of their 62 games last season.
