“I have scored over 100 goals in training so far and he has assisted 95% of the goals but I don’t Know why Erik ten Hag doesn’t want to start him”: Joshua Zirkzee says he’s not happy with Erik ten Hag decision to always benching ONE Man United’s player who always assist him to score goals

Manchester United are receiving brutal bashing from fans and pundits following a flurry of horrible performances in the ongoing season of English football so far.

The renowned English club is currently standing at the 12th spot in the Premier League 2024/25 so far with just two wins in their six games which also included three horrible defeats.

Their recent setback came on Sunday when Tottenham thrashed them with a hefty scoreline of 3-0 at Old Trafford. Moreover, the biggest worry raised for the Reds is the controversial red card that their juggernaut-attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes received.

Following the disappointing encounter, Bruno himself took charge of things and did a face-off with the camera to open out and present what he thought about the peculiar scenario.

‘The team showed a lot of character’: United captain on his team

After their duel against the Lilywhites, United skipper Bruno came in front and heaped praises on the performance of his team. The 30-year-old backed the players stating that they were very good on the field and the things were not as easy as it seemed.

Moving further, the Portuguese also spoke about his red card mentioning that there was no point in it and that whatever happened to him was unfair. As quoted by BBC, here is what he had to say:

“I just wanted to come and talk [do the interview] and be myself because my teammates deserve that for what they have done in the game playing with one man less. Particularly as I was the man sent off, the one that let them down.”

“The team showed a lot of character, a lot of resilience, a lot of fight. They tried. It wasn’t easy.”

“Never a red card – that is my view. I agree that it is a foul. The referee tried to tell me that as he saw it was a clear contact with the studs, no. I didn’t touch him with the studs or even the foot, it was my ankle. It is a clear foul.”

“If he wants to give me a yellow because they are going to go on a counter then I agree. But more than that, no. It is not the case.”

Shedding light on Bruno’s performance this season, he has been able to mark just one assist throughout his six PL appearances so far. He is undoubtedly one of the most important players in the United dugout and leads the side from the front. The stalwart currently bags around £300,000 per week at the Old Trafford.
