Kylian Mbappe’s contract revelations could offer the Red Devils the chance of a lifetime

The summer transfer window is upon us and with each passing day there are sensational rumors and things are no different from Manchester United’s point of view.
A few days ago, The Peoples Person covered a sensational report claiming that Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar may be leaving for Old Trafford.
This was followed by an equally incredulous claim that Real Madrid talisman Vinicius Jr., fed up with frequent racist attacks, may be contemplating a move to Manchester.

After Neymar and Vinicius, Mbappé now linked to United

And to top it off, a report from L’Equipe (via Football Transfers) has now claimed that another PSG superstar – Kylian Mbappe – could join United. This surprising news is based on the fact that the Frenchman’s current contract with the French giants ends in 2024, however, he has the option to extend it for another year, which is due to be ratified later this summer.
Currently, the world champion is not inclined to accept a one-year extension.

Manchester United and Liverpool have been told the door is open for the signing of PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe is still under contract with PSG until 2024 but has the option to extend that contract until 2025.
“They have to decide whether or not to activate this before July 31, 2023.” “The French source, who is generally sympathetic to the Ligue 1 champions, reports that the ‘strong trend’ is that the 24-year-old will refuse this option,” read the report.

Three-way fight for the expected world champion title

Although a move this summer is unlikely given the good relationship between the France international and PSG sporting director Luis Campos, there is a chance he will leave the club next season.
Real Madrid were close to securing his signature last time out and they are expected to get involved again, especially if they can land him on the cheap.

The 24-year-old’s stats are staggering: 40 goals and nine assists in 41 games in all competitions, translating into a goal contribution rate of one goal every 69 minutes. The versatile French superstar is valued at €180m according to Transfermarkt and it currently appears wishful thinking that United could sign him.
