Manchester United 2-3 Borussia Dortmund: Diego Dalot and Antony score as Dortmund triumph in Las Vegas.

Diego Dalot’s opener put Manchester United ahead before two quick goals from Donyell Malen put Borussia Dortmund ahead;

Antony leveled Manchester United ahead of Youssoufa Moukoko winner for Dortmund.

After beating Arsenal before their youngsters lost to Wrexham and the first team fell to Real Madrid, the Red Devils suffered another defeat at the end of their US trip.

Diogo Dalot’s superb curling shot gave United a well deserved lead at the stunning Allegiant Stadium, only for Donyell Malen to bag a brace during a two minute madness just before the break.

Antony leveled United before Harry Maguire – taunted by some early on and booked by Andre Onana for a second-half error – saw a header come off his own crossbar.

The theme of confusion continued throughout as both teams made sweeping changes, Youssoufa Moukoko finally giving Dortmund the win after clipping a pass from Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Erik ten Hag made eleven changes following Wednesday’s defeat at Real Madrid, with Scott McTominay handing over the armband to recently ousted captain Maguire.

There was some cheering for the 30-year-old when his name was read, as well as when he knocked off a diagonal ball early.

Nevada’s less experienced starter Omari Forson forced Gregor Kobel into a low save after reading a lax pass from Dortmund.

United were largely in control and continued in stunning fashion midway through the first half, with Dalot’s brilliant 22-yard curling iron into the top right corner.

Eyebrows were raised in the 37th minute when Forson was hooked by Ten Hag.

The 19-year-old had just been booked for a heated exchange with Karim Adeyemi and the United manager spent 30 seconds explaining his decision on the touchline.

Things looked relaxed for United, only for Dortmund who turned the game upside down just before the break.

Brandon Williams slipped when Adeyemi ran down the right side and United couldn’t clear when the ball surfaced and Malen fired in from six yards.

Dortmund scored their second goal just 18 seconds after the restart.

Their high pressing ended with Tom Heaton playing against Victor Lindelof, whose ball was deflected by Marcel Sabitzer and the former United loanee quickly served Malen to score again.

After knocking the Dortmund striker offside, Williams had some heated words with a team-mate and at half-time Andre Onana was next to yell at a colleague.

The new signing ran to Maguire to reprimand him after his mistake resulted in Sebastian Haller being shot on target and Adeyemi going just wide.

United survived this moment and equalized in the 52nd minute. Mats Hummels’ bad free-kick was blocked by Donny van de Beek and Antony put the ball in with a low shot.

Maguire accidentally deflected a header into his own crossbar trying to clear a corner and Dortmund regained the lead in the 71st minute when they intercepted a pass from Wan-Bissaka and saved the ball while Moukoko took the ball from Marco Reus converted at the far post.

Antony somehow fired over the target after Marcus Rashford was denied and Joe Hugill also saw an attempt saved.
