One United player is a United player working a lot harder than everyone else this season – which says a lot
A statistic has confirmed one Manchester United player is working much harder than others this season.
In the modern era of football, you need players who are ready to step on the field. United have always had players willing to go the extra mile to win the badge, including Ji-Sung Park and Darren Fletcher in recent times.
These players are very important to the team, often interrupting the game, doing the dirty work, and allowing others to play.
But there is one man in United’s current squad whose statistics suggest he is, but he is also considered the team’s most influential player. Bruno Fernandes is Manchester United’s most hardworking player
The Premier League has released statistics on the player who has run the furthest distance after the first four weeks of competition – with Bruno Fernandes coming in second overall in the competition.
Clearly at the top of the Manchester United rankings, the Portuguese Magnifico has run 46.84km in his first four matches so far, a remarkable figure of 11.71km per game.
He was only beaten in the league standings by Tottenham Hotspur’s Dejan Kulusevski, who was just 0.23 km ahead of him.

Statistics say many things
If these statistics prove anything, it’s that United’s other players need to take their job seriously.
In fact, we should let the players do the dirty work and thereby allow Bruno to play the role he is supposed to play: creativity. This sends a message to all of United’s other players: simply put, they need to work harder.
Hopefully the arrival of Sofyan Amrabat will allow that to happen, but after four games it’s clear some things need to change.
