OPINION  is a club that Liverpool cannot allow Jude Bellingham to join and I will feel bad if the FSG allows itJohn Aldridge looks back on Jude Bellingham’s transfer saga in part two of his weekly Live

columndiscussed in one of my last articles on how Liverpool fans would react if the club lost Jude Bellingham this summer.

I said things would have gone badly for FSG had Bellingham not been brought to the club, and the point still stands now that we have reportedly cooled interest in the player.

Sometimes wh these high profile transfers it can become a bit of a poker game and I hope it is. I have seen players make forced moves in the past and it could happen with Bellingham if he really wants to go to Liverpool

The finances required to bring Bellingham to Anfield appear to be the sticking point in getting a deal over the edge, but there is one

obvious solution which is staring John Henry in the face. If Jurgen puts Trent in midfield, you save on buying an extra midfielder for around £70m. Imagine a midfield with Bellingham and Trent, with Fabinho next to them: this would stop. If Liverpool wants it so much, it must be an option.

If Trent went to midfield, you can go get Bellingham. A great percentage of Liverpool -Fan wants to see Bellingham in the club and for us let him go money when we are one of the largest clubs in the world, it doesn’t seem good.
