    The Premier League is now home to some of the best teenagers in world football and young players from Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have seen exponential growth in value in throughout 2023.

    Football clubs are obsessed with signing the brightest emerging talents, as young players these days will often be sold for a higher price because they have huge sales potential.

    Using figures from Transfermarkt, we’ve ranked the 10 young Premier League players who will earn the most value throughout 2023.

    10. Andrey Santos (+4.35 million pounds)

    Since arriving at Stamford Bridge in January, Santos is yet to make his first-team debut for the club. The youngster spent last season on loan with Vasco da Gama and is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest.

    Chelsea’s initial investment in the Brazilian teenager appears to have paid off as he has earned more than £4m since the start of the year and is now worth £13.05m.

    9. Jhon Duran (+5.22 million pounds)

    The young Colombian is in good form this season and has scored four goals in all competitions so far. His value has doubled over the course of 2023 as he is now valued at £10.44m.

    Unai Emery was full of praise for the youngster after scoring his first goal for the club against Everton:
    “It was his first goal for us and after six months I thought it was good.

    “He has to be our striker alongside Ollie Watkins and we have to compete with these players. Today, its impact has been brilliant.

     

    8. Romeo Lavia (+6.09 million pounds)

    Chelsea spent £53m to complete the Lavia deal this summer as they competed with Liverpool for his signature. The 19-year-old has added around £6m to his value in 2023 and is valued by Transfermarkt at £27.8m.

     

    Lavia is still awaiting his Chelsea debut as he continues to recover from his ankle injury. Mauricio Pochettino could certainly use the youngster at the moment as his team is struggling to find form at the start of the season.

    7. Milos Kerkez (+6.96 million pounds)

    The Bournemouth full-back is currently valued at £13.05 million after an impressive year. Kerkez made 52 appearances for AZ Alkmaar last season and earned a move to the Premier League thanks to his breakthrough campaign.

    6. Lewis Hall (+£8.7m)

    Hall has become the latest promising young player for Chelsea to take advantage of. The youngster will spend the season on loan at Newcastle before becoming a full-time player next year for a fee of £35 million.

     

    5. Julio Enciso (+9.57 million pounds)

    Brighton are experts at finding value in the market and that is exactly what they got when they acquired Enciso last summer for £9.5m. The attacking midfielder is currently valued at £19.12 million and he has had an impressive start to the season.

    Roberto De Zerbi praised the youngster for his performance against Wolves as he provided two assists in the 4-1 win. “I think Julio was one of the best players on the field today, maybe the best,” the Brighton manager told reporters.

    4. Stefan Bajcetic (+10.43 million GBP)

    The Spanish teenager enjoyed his breakthrough season in the Premier League last time around as Jurgen Klopp handed him a lot of opportunities in the league and cup.

    His transfer value has taken quite a growth since his senior debut as he is now deemed to be worth about £11.3million. Having recently recovered from an injury setback, Bajcetic will be looking to make more strides forward this season.

    3. Rico Lewis (+£16.51million)

    It’s no secret that Pep Guardiola loves to splash the cash on a full-back or two, but he’s also been involved in the development of Lewis over the past 12 months.

    Guardiola looked towards Lewis last season to do more as his side had a shortage at left-back, following the fallout with Joao Cancelo. The 18-year-old stepped up in Cancelo’s absence and ended up winning a treble in his debut season.

    Lewis is now deemed to be worth £17.38million, with the vast majority of that value being added to his price tag over the past 12 months. It’s been some year for the youngster to say the least.

    2. Alejandro Garnacho (+£17.38million)

    United’s starboy has continued to impress this year. The Argentine winger made 34 appearances for Erik ten Hag’s side last season and is surely destined for the very top.

    “He is improving and he has improved a lot,” Ten Hag said after Garnacho penned a new deal with the club until 2028. “Now, I hope and I think this new contract is an inspiration and a motivation to do even better this season. Because it is a big step and, he deserves it.”

    The 19-year-old is deemed to be worth about £21.73million by Transfermarkt, which is £17.38million more than he was valued at last year.

    1. Evan Ferguson (+£25.21million)

    There’s a reason that every top Premier League side is now being linked with the Brighton teenager. Ferguson looks like a star in the making and Brighton will no doubt land a huge fee for the 18-year-old when they do eventually decide to sell.

    His current market value is said to be around £26.08million, but you can bet that he will be sold for significantly more than that when the time comes.
