West Ham vs Liverpool LIVE! Premier League match stream, latest score and goal updates today
West Ham vs Liverpool – LIVE!
Liverpool need to ensure their season does not completely derail as they travel to take on West Ham in the lunchtime kick-off. A Merseyside derby defeat in midweek leaves the Reds needing big favours from Arsenal and Manchester City if they are to give Jurgen Klopp a perfect send-off.
Much of the focus in the build-up to this match has been on Klopp’s successor, with Arne Slot set to take charge at Liverpool in the summer. A compensation deal with Feyenoord has been agreed and the Dutchman, who has made it clear he wants the job, now appears certain to be the next man in the Anfield hot seat. Klopp has shuffled his pack after a miserable defeat to Everton, with Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Dominik Szoboszlai among those dropped.
West Ham produced a dreadful display themselves last time out, hammered 5-2 by Crystal Palace. There is every chance these could prove to be David Moyes’ final few weeks in charge of the club, who face an uphill battle to secure European qualification. The hosts are boosted this afternoon by the return of Jarrod Bowen. Follow all the action with Standard Sport’s LIVE blog, featuring expert analysis from Dom Smith at the ground.

KICK-OFF!
We’re up and running in east London!
Here we go!
Teams are out at the London Stadium, bubbles blowing.
Fast start so important for both sides here, with confidence already fragile.
Klopp reveals positive reaction from fans
How did Jurgen Klopp deal with defeat to Everton? He went out with his son, rather than watching Man City beat Brighton.
The Liverpool boss said: “My son is here. The last thing I wanted to do was watch City playing. We went out in Formby.
“I was sitting outside actually. I wasn’t sure if people wanted to see me in this area, and Everton supporters as well. They deserve to be happy once a year.
“In that time 20 people came to say ‘Thank you’. I wanted to apologize for the night before, they said ‘no, forget that’.”

There will have been shock from some quarters when the news arrived that Salah, Konate, Nunez and Szoboszlai — four of Liverpool’s most important players — were benched, but it worked for them last Sunday.
All four plus Alexis Mac Allister were kept out of the starting line-up that day, and the impact of some of them off the bench helped the Reds win 3-1 against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Jurgen Klopp will be hoping for the same result.
Last time they met…
Liverpool have already beaten West Ham twice this season.
The Reds won 3-1 at Anfield in the Premier League, and then cruised to a 5-1 victory in the Carabao Cup just before Christmas.
Look away now, West Ham fans…

Big afternoon for both sides, needing to respond to poor displays last time out.
Robertson: We must bounce back
Andy Robertson has demanded a swift response from Liverpool this afternoon, after their “unacceptable” performance in midweek against Everton.
The Reds were beaten 2-0 at Goodison Park, a result that has near-enough ended their Premier League title hopes.
“Hugely disappointing,” Robertson tells TNT Sports.
“We feel sorry for the away fans that had to watch that, it wasn’t a performance that we’re used to.
“The way we played wasn’t acceptable for a derby, it’s up to us to show a reaction. Wednesday is done now unfortunately… it’s about focusing on the next game and putting it right today.”
Pre-match thoughts from David Moyes
The West Ham boss is still firmly eyeing European qualification.
Klopp delivers title race verdict
Should Arsenal lose to Tottenham tomorrow and Man City suffer a shock result at Nottingham Forest, Liverpool could be right back in the title race.
Jurgen Klopp is not particularly confident though.
“I cannot sit here and say they still feel us around,” Klopp said.
“I think even Arsenal and City see it as a two-horse race. They might have to say something else publicly, but they don’t expect for themselves to lose two games from now on, I don’t think so.”
Bold from Klopp!
Fair to say Klopp was evidently not particularly impressed with what he saw from Liverpool against Everton.
Five changes, with Salah, Nunez and Szoboszlai among those to be dropped. Elliott and Gravenberch handed chances to impress.
As for West Ham, big news is that Bowen is fit to start in that first-choice front four.
