We simulated Liverpool vs Brentford to get Premier League score prediction

Liverpool face Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, so we simulated the match to try and predict the final score

Liverpool take on Anfield for the third time in a week on Saturday when they take on Brentford in the Premier League.

A 1-0 win over Fulham Wednesday ensured five comeback victories for the Reds, with Mohamed Salah scoring his 18th league goal of the season.

The next player in Jurgen Klopp’s squad is Brentford, who have had an impressive season and, like their opponents, are in good form and in the running for a European place.

However, Liverpool will seek revenge after losing the reverse match in January.

So, can the Reds regain their defeat and come within a point of the Champions League places? Let’s take a look….

Liverpool vs Brentford score predicted by the simulation:

To complete this simulation, we used FIFA 23 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We expect Liverpool could line up in a 3-2-2-3, with the formation as follows: Alisson; Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho; Henderson, Jones; Salah, Gakpo, Diaz.

We anticipate the Bees could line up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their lineup as follows: Raya; Hickey, Pinnock, Mee, Henry; Dasilva, Janelt, Jensen; Mbuemo, Toney, Wissa.

Liverpool didn’t have an advantage in front of goal against Fulham as many chances came begging, but that was not the case this time, going two goals up inside the first 16 minutes of the game. Cody Gakpo put the Reds ahead after just five minutes, with the striker receiving the ball from Trent Alexnader-Arnold just outside the box before going past his marker and finding the bottom corner.

Alexander-Arnold was Liverpool’s biggest attacking threat, looking dangerous whenever he had the ball and he also set up the second, netting a fantastic running back pass from Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian passed Ben Mee in the box and circled his shot around David Raya to find the bottom corner.

Things got worse for Brentford in the 39th minute when Ethan Pinnock was sent off for a dangerous lunge over Luis Diaz. However, the Colombian was fine to continue and he set up the Reds’ third and hit the fourth either side of the half as the floodgates opened. Diaz hopped past two defenders on the left before drilling a cross into the penalty area, and a spill from Raya saw the ball fall to Curtis Jones on the goal line, where he couldn’t miss. And just after the restart, Diaz made four, with Jordan Henderson pushing a ball to the winger, who put his shot past Raya at the near post.

With 23 minutes remaining, the Bees pulled a goal back, with Bryan Mbuemo’s thunderous effort from just inside the box finding the top corner to leave Alisson without a chance. Jurgen Klopp then made a number of substitutions; two of whom both scored and hit Brentford for six.

Darwin Nunez came off the bench to record the Reds’ fifth, firing Andrew Robertson’s corner kick over the target and into the bottom corner. And in the 90th minute, Alexander-Arnold led a counter-attack before finding Harvey Elliott, who flicked the ball home to cap off a superb afternoon.

FIFA 23 Expected Score: Liverpool 6-1 Brentford

Here are the stats for the full match:

FIFA 23 predicts that Liverpool could rebel at Anfield and win 6-1 in the simulation. The Reds showed their attacking prowess with six different goalscorers, while Alexander-Arnold blossomed again in midfield and provided a hat-trick of assists.
