Lorcana Set 6 “Azurite Sea” Revealed – Release Date, New Cards + Products
The sixth Disney Lorcana set will be called “Azurite Sea” and will be released November 15th at your local game store. There’s a new Stitch-themed gift set, plus we have dates for the Challenge continental finals!
The new details were revealed in the latest Lorecast, which was a live stream over on Twitch. We were treated 23 new cards from the stream and the website. Scroll on for the new cards, products, and full details.
The intro to the Lorecast started with Ryan getting his comfy shoes on, then we were launched straight into the reveal trailer. A convoy of Illumineers and glimmers follow a map through the Azurite seas, encountering Kakamoras and a maze of huge waves.
We also got our first glimpse of Big Hero 6 and Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers characters. Can you spot the missing character cards? What’s that glowing ball of light?
Set your sights on the horizon! Following an ancient map, you’ll sail the beautiful yet unpredictable Azurite Sea. Joining you on board, and among this Disney Lorcana set’s 200+ cards, are friends from Big Hero 6 and Chip ‘n’ Dale: Rescue Rangers! Whether you face kakamora pirates or the whirlpool of a new mystery, your shipmates are ready to head bow-first into adventure.
Azurite?
Azurite is a mineral that comes in various blue to purple tones. Somewhere between say, Amethyst and Sapphire. Does this mean we might see a new ink color, or multi-ink cards? It could just represent the color of the sea itself.

The sixth Disney Lorcana set Azurite Sea will be released on November 15th at local game stores and select Disney parks. Two weeks later (as usual) on November 29th it will be available at retail stores and shopDisney.

Baymax marks the first appearance of the Robot classification. No big new mechanics or keywords, but some interesting Gain Lore abilities. Go Go Tomago – Darting Dynamo is very interesting and Yzma – Conniving Scientist has great draw possibility.
There were also a few characters shown in the trailer that we haven’t seen cards for yet. Guess their full names in the comments below.
There is also a Steel Hercules character on the Steel divider in the Azurite Sea Illumineer’s Trove box.
On top of that, there are three images from the website and press images that look like a couple of locations and maybe an action. What do you think?
Disney Lorcana Challenge Continentals Dates
The previously announced Challenge continental finals have solid dates, so book your hotels now! The World Championships didn’t get full dates, but we do know they’re at Disney World Resort in 2025.
- European Championship – Disneyland Paris- December 6th-8th 2024
- North American Championship – Disneyland Resort California – January 10th-12th 2024
We’ll (hopefully) see you in Paris!
Stitch Collector’s Gift Set
It seems like every set the team are trying something new for the gift set slot. This time we have the Stitch Collector’s Gift Set. You get four booster packs, an exclusive foil promo version of Stitch – Alien Buccaneer (who will be promo 8/P2), and a very cool portfolio with every Stitch illustration in the game!
Illumineer’s Trove
Another nice-looking trove box, perfect for storing this set’s card. The dividers are back to ink colors but this time with nice art from the set. Stitch – Alien Buccaneer is on the lore tracker, and the dice are shining and see-through blue.
- 1 Card storage box
- 6 Card Dividers
- 8 Booster packs of 12 additional game cards each
- 6 Damage-counter dice
- 1 Lore counter
Starter Decks
The two starter decks in Azurite Sea are Amber/Ruby with Jim Hawkins – Honorable Pirate and Tigger – In the Crow’s Nest. It looks like a great base for a competitive Pirate deck, as Jim’s ability could theoretically draw you four cards.
Emerald/Sapphire brings together Go Go Tomago – Darting Dynamo and Gadget Hackwrench – Brilliant Bosun. This combo looks like it’ll pair items and Inventors.
This time they’re called “single-player decks” which might be to show the difference from the Gateway. The contents are the same as previous decks: –
- 1 Preconstructed deck of 60 cards, including 2 foil cards of the characters on the package front
- 11 Game tokens
- 1 Quick Start Rulebook
- 1 Booster pack containing 12 randomized cards
Booster Box + Booster Packs
The booster box will have 24 booster packs as before, and the three designs on the packs feature Baymax – Personal Healthcare Companion, Yzma – Conniving Scientist, and Stitch – Alien Buccaneer.
You can also get the booster packs individually or sleeved with cardboard.
Accessories
We’ve got more cool accessories, again with art taken from different sets. To match the Hunny Wizard playmat, there are now sleeves and a deck box to compliment.
The other set use the popular Scar – Vengeful Lion – Enchanted card art.
The two playmats feature the great Elsa – The Fifth Spirit art from Shimmering Skies. The pirate Donald Duck – Buccaneer is from back in Ursula’s Return, though he fits this new set and will look great with your Pirate deck.
What do you think of Azurite Sea so far?
