šŸ“° Taylor Swift Breaks Silence on ZoĆ« Kravitz & Lisa Bonet’s Python ā€˜Destroying’ Her Home — But She Says She ā€œCan’t Even Be Madā€

When your friend’s pet Burmese python disappears into your home and chaos ensues — ripping out walls, smashing antique cupboards, and tearing up tile — many would expect anger. But when Taylor Swift finally addressed the now‑viral story, her reaction was anything but enraged.

During her October 8 appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Swift reflected on the saga first brought to light by ZoĆ« Kravitz: while taking refuge from Los Angeles wildfires, Kravitz and her mother, Lisa Bonet, stayed at one of Swift’s residences. In a bizarre turn of events, Bonet’s snake, Orpheus, slipped into a hole in Swift’s bathroom wall. What followed was a frantic, destructive attempt to retrieve it — involving crowbars, dismantled custom cabinetry, gaping holes, and walls scarred by desperate rescue attempts.

Swift described her reaction with admirable composure. ā€œI can’t even be mad,ā€ she told Meyers. She recalled the security team’s awkward call to explain the situation and her own incredulous question: ā€œWhat snake?ā€ She joked that the scene sounded like it belonged in a high‑end fashion shoot: ā€œThere’s splinters on the floor … in my mind this is an Annie Leibovitz shoot. … this is the chicest thing I’ve ever heard in my life … not a problem.ā€

Swift also revealed a running ā€œcountdownā€ she kept to mark how long it would take Kravitz to confess the disaster. Turns out, it was exactly three weeks — ā€œexactly the amount of time it took to fix the damaged cupboard.ā€ While Kravitz had hoped Swift would only hear about the damage after repairs were done, it seems word traveled anyway. When Kravitz finally called to ā€œtalk about something,ā€ Swift quipped, ā€œIs it the fact that you almost lost a snake in my house and destroyed my bathroom?ā€

Despite the architectural carnage, Swift’s tone was forgiving — even amused. She emphasized that there were ā€œno hard feelingsā€ and that the story, while wild, is now just one more memory between friends.

The incident is a rare glimpse into Swift’s personal relationships and the trust she places in close friends to temporarily call her space home. It also underscores the unpredictable nature of even the most controlled environments — especially with free‑spirited reptiles involved. As fans revel in the drama, the takeaway is clear: even when snakes, walls, and wildfires collide, friendship can survive the wreckage.
