Fiorentina has ensured that the Sofyan Amrabat contract is automatically extended by one year if Manchester United decides not to buy the midfield at the end of its sea
Ready-to-money.

The 27 -year -old Amrabat was strongly associated with a dream change at Old Trafford all summer, but Erik Ten Hag decided to strengthen other regions of his team before taking a late step for the Moroccan international.

An agreement was finally concluded on the day of the deadline, Amrabat initially borrowed from United. Although Fiorentina was determined to accept an obligation to buy in a contract with United, the two clubs have rather agreed a purchase option.
However, a new report from the Italian exit Il Tirreno shows that Fiorentina is part of the company by inserting a secret clause in which the Amrabat contract is extended by one year if a permanent transfer does not occur, this which protects its market value. Fiorentina have already collected an £8.5 million loan fee from Manchester United, who will have to pay a further £21.5 million if they wish to secure Amrabat’s services on a permanent basis. Already

Amrabat is no stranger to Ten Hag, who was coaching FC Utrecht when the midfielder arrived through the youth system. Amrabat made over 50 appearances for the club before being signed by Feyenoord.

Speaking after his move to Old Trafford was finally confirmed, Amrabat made it clear that he was relishing the prospect of working with Ten Hag again and that the opportunity to do so was a major factor behind his desire to seal a move at Old Trafford.

Amrabat said: “It was very important because I was very young. I was 18, 19-years-old and he gave me the chance to play in the first-team with Utrecht. We had a fantastic time, a really good season. I learned a lot from him so maybe he’s one of the most important people in my career for now.
“It’s fantastic because I think Erik ten Hag is a coach who will push always to the limit. He’s hungry. He wants to win.

“He is a winner and I like that. I think I’m the same, I’m a winner too. I want to win every day, so it’s a good match.”
