Man United prepare £44million bid to sign midfielder – Report

Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Manchester United lured Mason Mount and Sofyan Amrabat for their midfield department but things have not improved for Erik ten Hag.

Mount has spent time on the injury table and has not impressed on the field. On the other hand, Amrabat has rarely played in the midfield due to injury crisis in the left back position.

In such a scenario, reports indicate that the Red Devils are looking to further reinforce things in the center of the park and Javi Guerra is in the focus.

According to Spanish source, Ok Fichajes, Man Utd are preparing a bid worth £44million (50 million euros) to sign the Valencia starlet.

The media outlet have mentioned that Javi’s current clause with the Mestalla outfit will expire in 2027 and it has a release clause of 100 million euros.

The Spanish La Liga side have serious economic concerns and to meet the Financial Fair Play requirements, they may sell the 20-year-old if they receive a tempting offer.

It is stated that Man Utd are willing to consider a significant bid of around £44million to sign Javi from Valencia.

The youngster broke into the first team in the last campaign and made nine appearances in the league.

This season, in the opening game, he scored a late goal to beat Europa League winners, Sevilla. Moreover, he scored a goal in the 3-0 victory against Atletico Madrid last month. In seven starts, so far, he has directly contributed in 4 goals.
