FT: CITY REACH THE FA CUP FINAL! They’ve done it for a second successive season and have dumped Chelsea out.

90th minute: Eight minutes will be added on! Can Chelsea find an equaliser?

88th minute: Pochettino throws the dice one final time. Sterling and Chilwell come on for Cucurella and Fernandez.

84th minute: GOAL! SILVA! City lead in the semifinal. De Bruyne’s drilled cross is deflected and finds Silva at the back post who sweetly strikes it into the back of the net.

82nd minute: City work it well and find Alvarez on the edge of the box who hits it first time but it’s way over the bar. Both teams have been extremely disappointing in the final third today.

79th minute: Chelsea make changes. Mudryk and Disasi come on for Madueke and Gusto.

70th minute: De Bruyne is the latest to have a go from distance but it’s well wide.

66th minute: Grealish is forced off through injury which is a shame as he was just starting to pick up City’s pace. That shouldn’t be too much of a problem, though, as the electrifying speed of Doku enters the field.

61st minute: Walker and Jackson are in a foot race to the box and the City defender proves to be too strong for the Chelsea forward. This game is well and truly heating up!

Doku on for Grealish

Grealish can’t continue and limps off to be replaced by Doku.

The England midfielder is still furious and has plenty to say to the fourth official as he leaves the field.

Grealish caught by Caicedo

Grealish is down injured after being caught on his left knee by Caicedo. It was a nasty looking challenge from the Chelsea man who clumsily followed through after clearing the ball.

Grealish is furious, asking the referee to watch a replay.

Jeremy Doku is warming up on the touchline.

Jackson goes down in the box

City win a corner after an effort from Grealish flies behind. It’s a deep corner which Chalobah does well to deal with at the back post.

Chelsea manage to counterattack through Jackson, who races away with Walker. The Chelsea forward goes down in the box after colliding with Walker, but there’s no penalty following a quick VAR check.

It looked like good defending from the City captain.

This game is certainly waking up.

Chelsea hassling City

We have just been shown another replay of that Chelsea penalty appeal. Grealish was moving his arm towards his body, after it was wrapped around his teammate at the wall.

It does look like his hand has moved in the direction of the ball, but it still would be a harsh penalty to concede.

Despite not winning a penalty, Chelsea have their tails up and are chasing City down all over the pitch.

Caicedo receives the first yellow card of the game after grabbing Grealish’s shirt to stop him breaking away.

Foden wins a free kick in a great positon after Caicedo makes a late challenge.

A number of City players stand over the ball, which is just outside the penalty area to the left hand side.

City toiling through the first half

Cucurella does well to block Bernando Silva from reaching a Foden through ball. The Chelsea full back has had a very good first half at Wembley.

Five minutes to go until half-time and City continue to lack a spark in this game.

Ortega saves an effort from Palmer

Brilliant defending from Stones who throws himself at an effort from Madueke in the penalty area to keep Chelsea out.

Moments later and we see more evidence of the quality of Palmer. He picks up the ball in the box, shifts past Rodri before trying to force an effort into the corner of the net. Ortega does well to get down and keep the ball out.

Pochettino’s side have definitely had the better of the chances so far.

Silva shoots over

Chelsea fans will be rueing that missed opportunity from Jackson. Rather than shooting he opted to round the keeper, but found himself at a bad angle for a shot on goal and instead misplaced a pass to a teammate.

There was a collective groan from the Chelsea fans – they knew how big a chance that was.

City, however, remain without an attempt on target. Bernardo Silva blasts an effort over from a good position in the box.

Jackson through on goal

A huge chance for Jackson!

Fernandez finds the Chelsea forward with a terrific ball. He is through on goal alone, but deliberates on the ball and the chance goes amiss.

It looked like the Chelsea man was lacking a bit of confidence.

City win a dangerous free kick

City try to build down the right, but the move breaks down when a cross into the box from Walker is easily headed away by a Chelsea defender.

Moments later and Fernandez is late on Rodri, conceding a free kick midway inside the Chelsea half.

De Bruyne delivers a dangerous ball deep into the box, forcing Jackson to clear the ball behind for a corner.

Alvarez swings the ball into the box from the left, but Cucurella deals with the danger.

City struggling to get going

City are perhaps looking a little leggy after their Champions League exploits midweek.

They are yet to have a shot on target and haven’t really troubled the Chelsea defence.

We’ve also seen a number of misplaced passes from several City players.

Alvarez shows his skills

De Bruyne, Alvarez and Grealish link up deep in the Chelsea half.

Alvarez shows great control to keep the ball in the Chelsea box, but his effort on goal canons off De Bruyne, who was in an offside position.

Jackson breaks down the left

De Bruyne hacks down Madueke – one of a number of fouls early on in this match.

Shortly after and Jackson embarks on a solo run down the left. He skids the ball across the face of goal, but no Chelsea players are flying in to finish.

Cucurella clears off the line

Walker slips up, allowing Gallagher to win the ball in midfield and break away. The move forces Grealish to concede another corner.

Gallagher swings the ball in from the right but can’t beat the first man.

City break away up the field again, with De Bruyne splitting open the Chelsea defence with a lovely through ball to find Foden.

The Englishman takes it round the keeper but can’t squeeze the ball in from a tight angle at the byline. Cucurella clears his effort off the line.

Both sides win a corner

Chelsea win the first corner of the game, which Gallagher takes from the right.

The Chelsea captain can’t find the head of a teammate, and City clear the ball away before going up the other end and winning their own corner.

Alvarez takes it short, before receiving the ball back and whipping a cross into the box. It finds the head of Rodri, who can only find the hands of Ortega.

Early chance for Jackson

City continue to keep Chelsea pinned in their own half, picking out passes with ease.

The Londoners manage to make a rare break through Jackson, but Ake does well to pick his pocket and stop the counter.

Shortly afterwards, Jackson is in the thick of it again after Gallagher wins the ball in midfield. Palmer finds Jackson, who shoots from just outside the area. But he’s off balance as he hits the ball, and it’s straight at goalkeeper Ortega.

Chelsea striker Cole Palmer took his EPL tally to league-best 20 goals this season with another hat-trick on Monday night, scoring four against Everton in the Blues 6-0 victory.

The English striker is now co-leader on Premier League goals with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, who won the Golden Boot last season.
