Nigerian professional football player Victor James Osimhen represents both the national team and Serie A club Napoli as a striker. Ranked among the world’s top strikers, he is renowned for his superb finishing, quickness, power, and agility. Osimhen was born on December 29, 1998, in Lagos, Nigeria. He started playing football as a young player at Lagos’ Ultimate Strikers Academy. Scouts from Wolfsburg found him in 2016 and he got a professional contract with the German team.
During the 2016–17 campaign, Osimhen made his Wolfsburg professional debut. With 10 goals in 25 games, he rapidly established himself as a regular for the squad. He was loaned to Charleroi in Belgium in 2018.
Lille, a French team, signed Osimhen in 2019. He had an impressive debut season, scoring 18 goals in 38 games, helping Lille win the Ligue 1 title.
