£58.9m star ‘will arrive’ – Source reveals ‘next’ Manchester United signing

Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

Manchester United had to be active in the summer transfer window to bounce back from the disappointments of last season and so far, they have done great business.

However, the Red Devils are not done yet as they still have to reinforce things in the center of the park and a talented midfielder is expected to arrive at Old Trafford next.

As per today’s edition of Sport, the 20-time English champions are making a great financial effort in the transfer market to compete for all major titles next season.

United will not be taking part in the UEFA Champions League after they finished eighth in the Premier League and bottom of their UCL group last term.

In the strike-force, Ten Hag has splashed the cash and signed Joshua Zirkzee to replace Anthony Martial.

On the other hand, Leny Yoro has arrived from Lille to replace four time CL winner, Raphael Varane, to improve the defense at Old Trafford.

After Yoro, the Spanish source claim that ‘the next to arrive will be Manuel Ugarte’. Sport claim the South American’s profile fits Man Utd very well and state:

“The Uruguayan will arrive to reinforce the core and be the helm of the team in a transfer that could be around 70 million (£58.9m).”

Two days ago, we covered a report from French source, FM, claiming that Ugarte, who has already agreed personal terms, is preparing to move to Man Utd, who are about to reach an agreement with PSG.

Every top teams needs a quality defensive midfielder and the top two teams in the country have two of the best DMs in the world in the form of Rodri and Rice.

In your view, should Man Utd secure the signing of Ugarte?
