For the fourth time this season, Ty Majeski wins the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series pole award. This time at the Milwaukee Mile. Majeski is coming off back-to-back wins to close out the regular season, he’s looking for a third to begin the playoffs.

Beating Ty Majeski at the Milwaukee Mile is going to be difficult for this Truck Series field. Not impossible, but difficult. Majeski races the Father’s Day 100 at the track every year and has plenty of experience at the mile oval.

Majeski secured the pole over Tanner Gray by just 0.021 seconds. The ThorSport driver was also the fastest in practice for the LiUNA! 175. It’s going to be a good show tomorrow night.

If Majeski were to win at Milwaukee and bring his win streak to three in a row, it will be the first threepeat in the Truck Series since Kyle Busch won four consecutive races in the 2019 season.

This is the first race of the Truck Series Playoffs. From here on out, everything means more for the drivers involved. Of course, Ty Majeski isn’t going to just walk away with the win. Or, I don’t expect him to do that. Christian Eckes, Corey Heim, even Kaden Honeycutt could win this race.

The Milwaukee Mile has put on good racing in the past. I think starting the playoffs here is a great idea. It does stink a little bit that it has to compete with the Xfinity and Cup Series at Daytona, but it is what it is. Those fans in Minnesota and the surrounding region will be happy to have a little NASCAR racing in town.

With how hot Majeski has been lately, I think he is going to win this race. How easily he gets the job done remains to be seen. But having top practice and qualifying speed has to grant him a lot of confidence.

Ty Majeski is the best short-track racer in the Truck Series

Look, if you are asking me to pick a driver to win on a short track, I take Ty Majeski every time. What he has done in Super Late Models with the ASA Stars Tour should not be overlooked. He goes head-to-head with some of the best short-track racers in the country on a regular basis, including Bubba Pollard.

There are drivers who are capable of beating Majeski on a short track. But he is so damn good, you can’t overlook him. He has won at Bristol, twice at IRP, at Richmond. He has finished in the top-5 multiple times at Richmond and Martinsville and has been fast at every track a mile or shorter in length.

Ty Majeski is from Wisconsin, this is his stomping grounds. He truly is not one to be messed with this weekend. Given his background, his experience at the track, and his pole position – I’d pick Majeski in a heartbeat.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Playoffs begin tomorrow. It’s going to be an exciting battle for the championship. Let’s just hope for a better finale than we got last year at Phoenix.
