Liverpool vs Arsenal betting preview: Form, Head to head, first lX players and predictions

There aren’t many hurdles left between Arsenal and the Premier League title, but Sunday’s trip to Anfield looks set to be one of the toughest to overcome. Let’s see if Arsenal are lucky to beat Liverpool at Anfield.

Here are the latest details of the Liverpool vs Arsenal game.

Match preview Liverpool vs Arsenal…
Arsenal’s potential title decider against Manchester City, due later this month, has long been on his fans’ calendar. But they would do well not to neglect this competition which, alongside a trip to Newcastle, promises to be a major obstacle to overcome. If you’re wrong, the fate of the title is once again in Manchester City’s hands.

PEMIER LEAGUE TABLE

Gunners fans need no reminder of their decades-long struggle at Anfield – they’ve made decent records here in recent years.
Of course, this season’s form – Arsenal are 29 points better – means there’s clear potential to turn things around, but that’s a lot of mental baggage to grapple with.

It would also be foolish to suggest that Liverpool’s home form has anything to do with slippage this season. They have only lost once at Anfield, winning nine out of thirteen. Thirty-four goals were scored in those matches and only nine conceded.
In short, this remains a tough place to visit and Liverpool will be boosted by the likely return of Virgil van Dijk, who missed the midweek tie at Chelsea through injury.
Thiago Alcantara is also back in training and could strengthen a midfield that has struggled lately with Stefan Bajcetic and Naby Keita both missing for the rest of the season.

Luis Diaz, who has been much missed in recent months, is also close to his return, although this match will probably come too soon. For Arsenal, expect Bukayo Saka to return after failing for the first time in the Premier League this season as the Gunners beat Leeds 4-1 last weekend.

ARSENAL FIRST IX

While it’s not hard to argue that Arsenal are the better side, it’s also hard not to see the value of Liverpool’s prize money here.
Liverpool rarely lose at home and given the need for points in the race for the top four, should be ready to do so.

LOVERPOOL FIRST IX

Your fans will also be ready to recreate the famous atmosphere of Anfield. The greats will still remember Arsenal’s victory on the last day here in 1989 – who could forget Brian Moore’s famous ‘Everything is available now’ comment? – and would like to stop the Gunners.
They may or may not do it.

FORMER ENCOUNTER

Liverpool vs Arsenal best prediction
Arsenal wins

OK, Arsenal have clearly been the better of these two teams this season, but much of Liverpool’s struggle rests on their terrible away form.
No Premier League team has a bigger gap between points won at home and away.
At Anfield they have won nine of 13 and lost just one, with Man City, Newcastle and Man Utd all beaten at a ground the hosts are yet to concede in 2023.
Arsenal will know this is a big game for their title challenge and given the intense pressure to go nearly 2-1 on a home win here seems generous.

Xhaka granite is carded

Xhaka was most often sent off in competitive matches against Liverpool: he comes into this match with seven cards in 13 appearances against the Reds.
It comes as no surprise that his card numbers have dropped this season, given his diverse role pushing him further down the field.
However, the significance of this game is huge and should get the competitive juices flowing in the Swiss.
Liverpool’s attacking prowess should also mean he has to do more defensively in the game, so a price tag of 11/4 looks very tempting.

Mo Salah can score at any moment

Some players are criticized for being “missing” in big games and labeled flat-track bullies. Not salah.
He has a remarkable record against the traditional ‘Big Six’ – the three teams he has scored against in double figures are the two Manchester clubs and Spurs.
As for Arsenal, he has scored seven goals in his 10 Premier League starts for Liverpool.
It’s five out of five at Anfield, with the Egyptian finding the net in four out of five games.
Shot on goal and well-rested after being benched against Chelsea, Salah looks like he’s got a good price here. How to watch Liverpool vs Arsenal
