Arsenal star Mohamed Elneny has noted how Ramadan affects Muslim players as the Premier League does its best to make sure they are supported.
There has been debate over the impact of fasting on players, with some managers in Europe being criticized for not supporting their stars enough.
Elneny is one of the longest-serving members of Arsenal’s current squad and has shown why the club should keep him beyond that term.

He has a new contract until the end of next season as the club deem him a figurehead in the dressing room and could also be a leader among Muslim players in the league and has expressed his views on fasting.
Elneny said via The Daily Mail:

“It’s not a big difference for us. We’re thrilled because Ramadan lasts 30 days a year and you don’t think too much about how much you’re going to fast. We do something for God and God is happy that we do it.
“Every footballer has to drink during training. After training we eat. Ramadan doesn’t give you that, but it gives you something else, it gives you the peace that God will be pleased with you and the respect that you will get. people.

Elneny is an important player for us and has been talking about this topic professionally for a long time. The midfielder is one of our key players and continues to show he has what it takes to help on and off the pitch.

“You need luck in the title race,” he said. “That luck and what you think will happen. Sometimes it’s about inches and they have to go your way.”

Town boss Pep Guardiola was equally uninterested in his side’s new favourite, admitting that winning the game against Brighton is by no means a guarantee. “The reality is that we are six points behind,” Guardiola said. “No one can guarantee that we will win the match against Brighton, the best team in the world is preparing. There is no better team in the world in modern football right now.
“Then, Arsenal at home. There’s no guarantee at all.”

Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has boldly claimed that Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka is already better than Manchester United icon David Beckham.

Agbonlahor supports these sentiments, even stating that Saka is better than Manchester United legend Beckham. He explained to talkSPORT that the Arsenal striker would have been a shoo-in for England if he had selected the Three Lions squad:

“I would prefer Saka to Beckham if I could choose an English team. I said it at the World Cup, I would prefer Saka to Beckham.”

Saka impressed at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, scoring three goals and providing two assists in five games. He was instrumental as Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions raced to victories over Iran (6-2) and Senegal (3-0). He managed to keep Phil Foden out of the team in form. Agbonlahor touched on this:

“When I saw Saka at the World Cup, he was excellent. He also distinguished himself during the European Championships which have just taken place. I kept [Phil] Foden out of the team.”

Agbonlahor likes Saka’s pace and cites the winger’s scoring chances as his reason for choosing him for England:

“If I choose my best English team, I have Saka on the right. Pace, score goals, plus full game. Can attack players, score goals, get passes too. I choose Saka.”

Saka has been outstanding for Arsenal this season but it’s hard to compare him to Beckham. The iconic number 7 has built an illustrious career, playing for Manchester United, Real Madrid, PSG and AC Milan. He scored 127 goals and provided 214 assists in 718 career games.

Beckham had a very different right wing profile to Saka. He boasted one of the sweetest right-footed players in the history of European football. He was a free-kick threat and his creativity lit up the Premier League with the Red Devils. The Inter Miami owner has won the title six times. Saka will be looking to follow suit as Arsenal sit six points clear of second-placed Manchester City at the top of the league with eight games remaining.

Beckham visited England during the World Cup in Qatar. He was an ambassador for the Middle East tournament. Saka melted the fans’ hearts when he asked the Manchester United legend for a photo. He interrupted a conversation between England manager Southgate, Beckham and Jack Grealish. The Arsenal winger asked (via AFC Stuff):

“Sorry to interrupt, can I take a picture with you?”

It may not be long before aspiring young talent approaches him for photo opportunities. His meteoric rise in the Emirates has been admirable and he has shown humility throughout.

But the £75m duo have given the Gunners such a powerful lead that they are now contenders to take the City throne next month.
It’s a scenario Guardiola could not have imagined when he handed Arsenal’s check to two men who had been a big part of their Etihad spell.
Hell, even Mikel Arteta didn’t see it coming.
Selling Raheem Sterling to Chelsea seemed like a much bigger risk at the time. But ask anyone at the Emirates about the spark behind this season’s success and they will all point to the arrival of Jesus and Zinchenko.

They are constantly called out for their winners’ mentality and it is evident that when Arsenal players gather for their pre-match meeting, it is usually one of those two who calls the swap.
Zinchenko allowed Arteta to draw directly from Pep’s playbook by pushing his left-back into midfield.
And if imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, just look at the number of goals Arsenal now score from six feet out after ripping their opponents to shreds.
Jesus’ return from injury couldn’t have come at a better time to revive a side with a reputation for choking on the final score. He’s scored just seven goals this season while his City replacement Erling Haaland has 42. So there’s no comparison on that front.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola may regret selling Jesus and Zinchenko.

But one could argue that Jesus’ impact on his team was even greater than that of the Norwegian powerhouse because of what he brings into the dressing room and onto the training ground.
He may have won four league titles in his five years at City, but for most of that time he played second fiddle to Sterling and Sergio Aguero.

So did Zinchenko, whose options were limited by Benjamin Mendy and Joao Cancelo. Now they enjoy the responsibility of being the most important men and will be absolutely crucial in the terrible matches at Anfield, Etihad and St James’ Park.
These are the meetings that will decide the title race this season.

And having already racked up more Premier medals than he knows how to, you think winning another would probably mean less to Guardiola than it does to Arteta.
But that past glory won’t ease the pain of being the ignorant architect of your own downfall.

“It often turned out to be the case. If Arsenal go to Anfield and win, I would definitely say it would be their title.
“The security of that would be incredible. Anfield is a specter of somewhere to go.

“It’s never enough,” he replied when asked what it meant to be eight points clear at this stage. “We know we have a lot of games to play. We have to be focused because things can change quickly. If we lose a game we can’t have confidence afterwards, so we have to be focused to go ahead and try to win. We focus on ourselves.

“There is no pressure. It’s better to have that pressure when you’re up than when you’re down. It’s better to continue like this and we don’t need to be under pressure.

“We know we have a big game next week. We know they beat us. They are the only team to have beaten us in the Premier League this season and we want to beat them again at home. “We will prepare for this match very well, I think, and I hope we win in front of our fans.
