Breaking; Exciting transfer news for Liverpool fans pop-up when needed most
Liverpool could yet have a free run at a reported defensive midfield target, PSV’s Ibrahim Sangare this summer following one reporter’s update.
The Reds have been wounded by the two midfield transfer targets getting poached by Chelsea. The cases of Caicedo and Lavia are hard pills to swallow but the Reds are now determined to find another transfer target.
The Anfield club is targeting the PSV midfielder, Ibrahim Sangare who is also reportedly targeted by Bayern and PSG. However, recent reports have suggested that the Ivorian is of no interest to Bayern.
Ibrahim Sangaré is on the radar or Liverpool and Bayern, how serious their interest is will be revealed in the next few days. £32M release clause — for PSV whoever pays the clause will take the player
Liverpool at a clear chance to sign Ibrahim Sangare?
Unlike lately, the recent news by Florian Plettenberg that Bayern aren’t interested to sign Sangare is music to Liverpool supporters’ ears. This leaves the Reds with a clear go ahead to sign the 25-year-old this summer.
Since the departures of Henderson and Fabinho, Liverpool haven’t been able to replace either of them. However, after their first game, it is clear that Klopp needs midfield reinforcements.
For the majority of the game, the Reds were overpowered in the midfield by Chelsea. Now adding two great players in Caicedo and Lavia would definitely demand Liverpool to do the same.
The 25-year-old has been repeatedly linked with a move to Anfield. Although, it remains to be seen whether he tops the list of club’s remaining available options on the chart.
With a release clause of £32.3m, it could make a better deal of sense to trigger our third release clause of the summer.
Also, it could fast-track the player’s arrival at a time when a number six is desperately required.
The key for Liverpool will be consistency at this stage following failed deals for both Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.
We can’t blame the club for aiming high at the risk of looking silly in the market. But, they do now, following the latter’s decision to join the Ecuadorian at Stamford Bridge.
However, the fans now wish that the club’s next option in the market will be pursued with a singular focus on the player.
After the recent drama, fans hope that this wouldn’t halt at the sight of the asking price, above the club’s evaluation.

Chelsea and Liverpool once again played out a draw as goals from Luis Diaz and Axel Disasi saw the score finish 1-1 at Stamford Bridge as the teams got their Premier League campaign started.

Robert Sanchez – The former Brighton goalkeeper came into the team faster than many anticipated as Kepa Arrizabalaga’s move away from Chelsea comes closer to fruition. The game saw him with very little to do in recycling ball possession and also in terms of saves. Strong enough outside of a misplaced pass late in the second half. 6.
Axel Disasi – Perhaps could have done well for Liverpool’s opening goal but Mo Salah’s pass should take most of the credit for that. Otherwise managed himself well and looked a threat in the opposition box. Scrambled in Ben Chilwell’s header to put Chelsea back on level terms. His composure was excellent when defending against Darwin Nunez late in the game. 7.
Thiago Silva – Continues to impress and put in a crucial block in the 27th minute to ensure Liverpool did not increase their lead. His fellow centre-backs will have their work cut out to displace him. 7.
Levi Colwill – The defender was presented a difficult task often facing Salah in one v one situations and was certainly tested in that role. Performed well overall and showed some good moments on the ball however 6.
Reece James – Returning to a wingback role against the Reds, the threat James possesses high up the pitch also did as he gave consistently impressive deliveries. Encouraging performance until he was replaced in the second half. 7.
Enzo Fernandez – The World Cup winner was handed the freedom of a more advanced role and grew into the game as Chelsea did. Hinted at what he could do moving forward if Chelsea can figure out the base of their midfield. 7.

Carney Chukwuemeka – An erratic start to the game saw him got a yellow card for a high boot and it took a while for him to settle into proceedings on the opening day of the Premier League. He improved as the game went on and was able to connect midfield and attack. 6.
Conor Gallagher – The former Crystal Palace loanee was tasked as sitting as Chelsea’s defensive midfield and he did produce some good attack but had a difficult task pressing the opposition when Liverpool flowed forward. Made a phenomenal tackle on Salah when he looked to break clean through in the second period and was one of the better players of that half. 6.
Ben Chilwell – The wingback had a lot of ground to cover in the Blue’s system as he was tasked with driving high up the pitch and helping to pack out the Blues’ midfield. Continues to be one of Pochettino’s main attacking threats, though his first touch let him down on occasion.
His header back into the box found Disasi who was able to square the game up, and Chilwell thought he’d given Chelsea the lead when he rounded Alisson and finished well before VAR ruled out his goal for offside. 6.
Raheem Sterling – A better outing from the winger who showed some good close-control in the opposition area but was perhaps more impressive in his work just outside of the final third. More work to do but encouraging. 6.
Nicolas Jackson – The Senegal international again showed his all-round presence on the pitch and he continued to work hard for the team and expressed desperation to get in behind Liverpool’s backline. Would be disappointed with sending the ball over the bar with a first half chance but still plenty to be impressed by. Looked destined to earn Chelsea a win late on with a phenomenal run but couldn’t quite finish it off. 6.
