Liverpool predict line-up vs Everton – Premier League
Liverpool will be hoping to stem a dip in form when they host Everton in the Premier League in the Merseyside derby on Monday night
The Reds suffered a poor first half in the loss to Wolves, conceding two goals in the first quarter of the match before Wanderers conceded another late to send Jurgen Klopp and co into a 3-0 loss at Molinous.
They meet an Everton side bolstered by the arrival of Sean Dyche as manager and their 1-0 win over Premier League leaders Arsenal. Liverpool predicted line-up against Everton (4-3-3).
GK: Alisson – I had to make a few hard stops to prevent Liverpool’s loss to Wolves from becoming any more embarrassing.
RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold – Has struggled to produce the usually incredible attacking numbers he shoots from right-back and has managed just one goal and one assist in the Premier League so far. CB: Joel Matip – Scored an own goal and had nightmarish moments against Wolves. With Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate injured, Klopp has few alternatives.
CB: Joe Gomez – I got caught on all three Wolves goals. Could use a commander display.
LB: Andy Robertson – Is as diligent as ever on the left flank and has the league’s most assists for Liverpool this season with five. CM: Jordan Henderson – Henderson will be tasked with battling an Everton midfielder who has stifled Arsenal so effectively.
CM: Stefan Bajcetic – Continues to impress by cleaning up free possession and breaking up play which is helpful given Fabinho’s struggles this year.
CM: Naby Keita – Started a few games recently and could be back with doubts about Thiago’s fitness. Has only played against Everton three times so far.
RW: Mohamed Salah – Now five games without a goal and struggling to find fluidity in attacking areas alongside Nunez and Gakpo. Two goals in the 4-1 win over Everton in December 2021.
ST: Darwin Nunez – A human wrecking ball, Uruguayan striker Nunez will soon be praying for his chance before scoring. Had five shots against Wolves, most with Keita.
LW: Cody Gakpo – Sparked speculation he would move to Liverpool in January with a few anonymous appearances. Struggling to make a difference in the already unmotivated reds.

Liverpool are reviving long-term interest in Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski.
Il Mattino says Liverpool are interested in Zielinski.
The 28-year-old has long been a target for the Reds having opted for Napoli over Anfield in 2016 when he moved from Empoli to Napoli.
His contract with the Serie A leaders still has 18 months left, but the Italian newspaper says his salary seems “too important” given the salary structure set by the Napoli president. According to the outlet, if a deal cannot be reached in the Italian top flight, his future can only lie in the Premier League and Jurgen Klopp’s side have been mooted.
