Man United’s star is ready to depart for £40 million because he is fed up with Ten Hag’s decision to always play Erikson in his position – ‘He’s really DISAPPOINTED.’

Christian Eriksen played a key role in Manchester United’s comeback victory over Nottingham Forest

The Danish midfielder was brought in to replace Mason Mount, who was injured, and he was brilliant for Erik ten Hag’s team.

The 31-year-old scored the first of United’s three goals in their incredible comeback at Old Trafford, giving United much-needed momentum after a disastrous first five minutes.

It appeared to be a bad day for the Red Devils, but it turned out to be a classic Ten Hag effort.

Eriksen confesses that it appeared to be a ‘long day’ versus Forest.

Speaking to MUTV after the win, Eriksen said that when the Red Devils fell behind 2-0, he feared the worse.

“You definitely feel very unlucky with the second goal, that it could be a long day,” Eriksen told United’s reporters.

The second goal was unlucky, but it was simply insufficient in the first five minutes. United was chasing the game after two clumsy goals.

Fortunately, many of our players were in fantastic form, most especially Bruno Fernandes, who was explosive throughout.

Eriksen also discussed his goal and how it was the impetus for United’s turnaround.

“It’s one of those where you are just in the moment and you can’t control it because you need [it], you don’t have the luck to be in a good place,” Eriksen explained.

Despite Rashford’s bad start, Eriksen encouraged him.
Eriksen was in the perfect spot because he believed the struggling Marcus Rashford would provide the correct ball into the six-yard box.

Rashford looked much better yesterday and was particularly useful in the first, beating his man and setting up Eriksen.

United’s first goal scorer also expressed confidence in Rashford’s abilities, despite his recent poor form start to the season.

“I was expecting Marcus to go around his man, which often happens, and then really just try to be in the area where the ball might end up and, luckily, I had a striker’s nose it to be at the right place.”

This is hopefully a harbinger of things to come from Marcus. He did appear more focused and likely felt more at ease on the left wing.

Now all he needs to do is reintroduce goals into his game. We have great confidence that, like Eriksen, he will accomplish precisely that.
