Man Utd on a deal to sign a more ‘complete’ player; says he’s better than Alexander-Arnold

Manchester United and Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard have reportedly discussed a possible transfer.
Are Man United considering signing a new defender? Erik ten Hag and the Red Devils have been very active so far this summer, signing Mason Mount from Chelsea as their first significant signing in the window.

Following the departure of David de Gea, plans are currently underway to replace him with Inter Milan’s Andre Onana, who is expected to take on the role of new goalkeeper. With Atalanta making an offer for Rasmus Hojlund, it looks like Ten Hag are also looking for a new striker. Kim Min-jae has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United but is close to signing for Bayern Munich. AS Monaco’s Axel Disasi is another interesting player and it seems Pavard is also on the radar at Old Trafford. Yet rumors about the defenders continue to circulate.

On Friday, Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg posted an update on Pavard’s future on Twitter. With Pep Guardiola as a fan, he has acknowledged that a move to Manchester City is an option, but he has also said there have been talks with Manchester United and Juventus. Guardiola really likes him and his versatility, so yes Manchester City is a serious option for him.

But Pavard has more specific options as he is now determined to leave Bayern. Man Utd: Discussions have taken place. more Juve. FC Bayern managers are hoping to receive an offer soon. Benjamin Pavard, who? The squad that won the 2018 World Cup in Russia included French international Pavard.
The 27-year-old made 162 appearances for Bayern over four years, scoring 24 times from right-back or centre-back. Pavard has already worked with Lille and Stuttgart before coming to Munich.

Pavard is not lacking in confidence either; he believes he is a better and more capable right-back than Liverpool’s Trent Alexander Arnold and Paris Saint-Germain’s Archaf Hakimi. “A central defender is what I do. This has always been my favorite place because it’s where I feel most relaxed and at ease. I feel most comfortable here. I think we can see more of my strengths in this role from obtain.

“The great coaches have to have faith in my abilities if they put me on the right side. I have always held a position at Deschamps. He doesn’t trust me because of my pretty eyes or my hair. He knows my characteristics. After that, there are still some things I need to work on: I need to take more risk and initiative. I am aware of it and I work on it every day. “A defender must first defend strongly. Pavard may seem less attractive than Hakimi, Arnold, but I feel more defensively complete.

It appears the full-back may be on his way to the Premier League. Should a move to England gain momentum, it will be interesting to see which side Manchester joins.
