Manchester United fans could see Rasmus Hojlund and Sergio Reguilon make their debuts for the club when they take on Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday.
United signed seven signings this summer, four of them on deadline day, with left-back Reguilon, midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, goalkeeper Altay Bayındır and veteran defender Jonny Evans all moving to Old Trafford.
Amrabat arrived on loan with an option to buy Fiorentina, while Bayindir joined Fenerbahce to replace new signing Andre Onana. Evans also signed a one-year contract with United after working with them in pre-season.
Of those signings, however, only Reguilon is likely to feature against Arsenal. Amrabat cannot play on Sunday but Ten Hag confirmed that both Reguilon and Bayindir were signed in time for the match.
As a result, the Spaniard is expected to start at left-back with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia injured, while Bayindir is likely to be on the bench as cover for Onana. Aaron Wan-Bissaka is expected to remain at right-back, while Victor Lindelof could partner Lisandro Martinez, while Rapahel Varane could pick up an injury in the win against Nottingham Forest.
Mason Mount is also currently injured and will be out until after the international break. Christian Eriksen is expected to restart alongside Casemiro in central midfield. Ten Hag also confirmed that Hojlund is ready to make his debut against Arsenal as he joins United for £72m despite being injured. “We had a good week of training and we have the last training on Saturday,” Ten Hag said in his pre-match press conference.
United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Rasmus Hojlund will likely also make his debut against the Gunners (l

“He’s fine, so he’ll be available. I think he’s ready to go.” There is a big spotlight for every player. At Manchester United, you have to perform in every position and for every player.
As a result, Hojlund was able to lead the line against the Gunners, with Marcus Rashford and Antony playing on the wings and captain Bruno Fernandes being used as a number 10. Tom Heaton, Kobbie Mainoo and Amad Diallo remain sidelined through injury.
