Man Utd vs Arsenal: Roy Keane and Gary Neville argues over Man Utd result

Gary Neville and Roy Keane quarrel about the Man Utd outcome. Pundits are predicting the outcome of Manchester United’s Premier League match against Arsenal this weekend in advance of kickoff. The third-to-last Premier League match of the season will see Manchester United return to action following their 4-0 loss to Crystal Palace on Monday. With just over a week remaining in the league season, Erik ten Hag probably finds it difficult to motivate his squad to win this match as United continues to drop points.

Arsenal of course are locked in a title race with Man City and will be extremely motivated to beat United and give themselves as good a chance as possible of winning the title.

Ahead of the game, the predictions are coming in with both Gary Neville and Roy Keane getting involved.

How Gary Neville and Roy Keane have predicted Manchester United vs Arsenal

On this week’s episode of the Stick to Football podcast, two United legends have shared their predictions for the game, and they can’t agree.

First up, Keane made his prediction, saying: “United will score. I’d say 2 or 3-1 to Arsenal.”

After this, Neville disagreed and made his prediction, which would be far more welcomed by Ten Hag.

“It’s massive for Arsenal and United’s record against the top half teams at home [isn’t bad].

“But this game, it’s almost as though it’s been dismissed because United are that bad, which we all get, but it can be a graveyard Old Trafford.

“I’m not sure Arsenal are going to win, Arsenal should win, but there’s madness around Old Trafford and usually, during a title race, it doesn’t work out as you’d think.

“So I’m going to go 2-2, it’s just a feeling but Arsenal should win.”

How Manchester United done at home to the top sides this season

As Neville mentioned, this season has seen United upset at home by sides that they should be beating, far more often than by teams around them in the league.

This of course will see Ten Hag have a level of confidence heading into this game, especially with the last big side to come to Old Trafford being Liverpool who were beaten 4-3 in the cup and drew 2-2 in the league.

Besides City winning 3-0, United beat Chelsea, beat Aston Villa, drew to Spurs and beat West Ham. So Arsenal won’t have it easy, nor will Newcastle next week.

That being said, if it’s a performance which is like what we saw on Monday, it could quite quickly become embarrassing for United.
