Manchester United vs West Ham predictions: Harry Redknapp openly refuse  to accept three pundit’s predictions

When Manchester United hosts West Ham United in today’s Premier League match at Old Trafford, they will be hoping to extend their winning streak.

Erik ten Hag’s team enters the game fresh off a thrilling victory over Wolves, but they are aware that they still need to do better after blowing a two-goal lead twice in as many days.

Following a 2-0 loss at the London Stadium in December, United will be hoping to get revenge on West Ham. The following expert predictions are listed ahead of the game:

British Sport’s Chris Sutton

The response to Manchester United’s dramatic 4-3 victory at Molineux on Thursday night suggests that the team has once again won the World Cup.

“Really,

“Seriously, though, it was a good win and fair play to them for the way they got it – they certainly needed it.

“West Ham beat them at the London Stadium before Christmas but I am expecting a different outcome at Old Trafford.

“I am not expecting it to be a very open game because Hammers boss David Moyes won’t set up that way, but Manchester United will find a way through.”

Prediction: United 1-0 West Ham

Paul Merson – Sportskeeda

West Ham United have the ammunition to hurt Manchester United on the counter. With Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus, the Hammers have two players who have been in fine form this season, but as I’ve said earlier, you never quite know what you’re going to get with West Ham.

You could say the same for Manchester United! They were absolutely dominating Newport County and raced to a two-goal lead, which is when I thought it could be a cricket score. Next thing you know, it was 2-2! I hate predicting Manchester United games, but I think they’ll just win this one thanks for home advantage.

Prediction: United 2-1 West Ham

Harry Redknapp – Bet Victor

“Big game for both sides here. United have obviously been so up and down this season that I don’t know what to expect from them here. I know they’ve got a bit of uncertainty going on behind the scenes, but I’m surprised they were so quiet during the transfer window.

“Likewise with West Ham. I thought another forward would have been right at the top of David Moyes wish list but it didn’t happen. That being said, Kalvin Phillips could be a very good addition to this squad.

“The Hammers beat them at home and will like their chances at Old Trafford. I’m leading towards a 1-1 draw.”

Prediction: United 1-1 West Ham

Mark Lawrenson – Paddy Power

“West Ham will to go Old Trafford and park the bus but David Moyes’ record isn’t the best at the big sides as we know.”

Prediction: United 2-1 West Ham
