Reasons Barcelona’s summer transfer window will be one of the ‘most aggressive’: Romero

Barcelona have already presented their La Liga feasibility plan for the next summer transfer window and are confident of getting the green light. Once the Catalans have received approval, they can start working on the signings of their dreams and put the pieces together for next season.

According to reports from Gerard Romero, the upcoming June bout will be one of the most aggressive in their history. Despite their weak economic situation, the Blaugrana are expected to grow and take several steps. The Jijantes FC reporter adds that in terms of meaning it will transcend last summer’s window. Barcelona’s 2022 summer transfer window has been one of the best deals the club have had in a long time, bringing in top-notch names for near-zero fees or free transfers.

All in all, it’s safe to say that Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, Jules Kounde and Andreas Christensen all enjoyed success in their first seasons.
It would therefore take something special for the coming summer to crown a window of this importance. However, early signs suggest it’s a real possibility.

Inigo Martinez is set to arrive as a much-needed left-footed centre-back for Xavi’s plans. Ilkay Gundogan also looks close to a move to Catalonia and would be a great asset on a free transfer.
The biggest headline, however, is the possible return of Lionel Messi. With each passing day bringing the Argentine talisman closer to Barcelona and it is safe to say that both sides are working hard to make it happen.

The Azulgranas are optimistic that La Liga will approve their plan to sign Messi as early as tomorrow. Once given the green light, the process could move quickly, provided Barcelona generate enough money through player sales.
