Arsenal returned to winning ways in impressive fashion against Wolves to go back on top of the Premier League. Gary O’Neil’s side had the best chance of the early stages with Joao Gomes taking advantage of a Jakub Kiwior error to break into the box but his effort was pushed onto the upright by David Raya.
A tense first half ended in perfect fashion for Arsenal with Leandro Trossard, while slightly off balance, guiding the ball into the far corner with the outside of his boot after some great work by Gabriel Jesus. Wolves’ injury crisis resulted in them creating minimal chances with David Raya hardly troubled in between the sticks.

Deep into added time, the Gunners were able to add a second with Martin Odegaard finishing from a tight angle after his first shot was blocked. The victory took Arsenal back outright above Man City and Liverpool on top of the table with it the perfect way to bounce back from two defeats in four days.
Following the return to winning ways, football.london has taken a look at the fixtures on the horizon for Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City in the title race.
Chelsea (H) – Tuesday, April 23
As Arsenal discovered in the reverse fixture, a clash against Chelsea, despite their inconsistencies is a significant challenge. Following an FA Cup semi-final defeat to Man City, the Blues will also be out to quickly put that defeat behind them.

Liverpool and Man City also play in the upcoming midweek but Arsenal are in action first and that could benefit them if three points are secured.

Tottenham (A) – Sunday, April 28
Arsenal will enter the North London Derby against Tottenham having played four games after their bitter rivals were last in action. Granted that was a humbling 4-0 defeat to Newcastle but the Lilywhites look set to enter the clash in better shape.

Alternatively, having played regularly in the lead up to the game, Arsenal’s match sharpness could be significantly higher.
Bournemouth (H) – Saturday, May 4
If Arsenal are to remain in the Premier League title race for the final few weeks, the Gunners will have to beat Bournemouth at Emirates Stadium.
Arteta’s side have slipped up in these kind of fixtures at crucial moments before with Southampton picking up point last season. However, the reverse fixture was won 4-0 by Arsenal in comfortable fashion and they will be hoping for a repeat in early May.
Manchester United (A) – Sunday, May 12
Old Trafford is not the fortress for Manchester United it once was and therefore Arsenal can head their with confidence.

Erik Ten Hag’s side have raised their game against the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City on home soil before and therefore Arsenal should at least be wary of that.
Everton (H) – Sunday, May 19.
If the title race goes down to the final day of the season, Arsenal will fancy their chances to win. Relegation-threatened Everton are the visitors to Emirates Stadium and could also desperately need the points depending on their predicament.
The Gunners narrowly beat the Toffees in the reverse fixture and they will be hoping to avoid such a tight affair especially if goal difference is needed to decide the final standings.
