Worrying News emerges as Sky Sports reporter reveals three Liverpool players nowhere to be found

Liverpool may be without three vital players against Chelsea today.

It’s time for the Carabao Cup final and the first piece of major silverware in the English season is up for grabs.

Jurgen Klopp is on a quest to win silverware ahead of his exit this summer and today marks a major opportunity.

Chelsea stand in Liverpool’s way and the Reds will be looking to repeat their success from 2022, when they beat the Blues in the Carabao Cup final on their way to a double-winning season.

Sadly for Liverpool, Klopp could be without three important players this afternoon…

Liverpool trio missing at Wembley

Sky Sports reporter Vinny O’Connor has been speaking outside Wembley Stadium this morning and offered a worrying update.

O’Connor claims that Liverpool trio Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Dominik Szoboszlai were all missing from the Liverpool squad as they entered Wembley.

Players will have been taking in their surroundings and looking at the Wembley pitch ahead of today’s game.

Yet according to O’Connor, those three Liverpool players were nowhere to be seen, sparking fears that they will miss out.

“Just some news to bring you, there was no Mo Salah, there was no Darwin Nunez and there was no Dominik Szoboszlai either with the group as they made their way out on the Wembley turf,” said O’Connor. “We’re just wondering what that says about the potential team Jurgen Klopp is going to put out,” he added.

Salah came off the bench to bag a goal and an assist at Brentford last week but missed the game against Luton Town in midweek.

Nunez missed out against the Hatters too but there were hopes that both players would be back today.

This update is not encouraging though and the same goes for Szoboszlai, who hasn’t played since the 4-1 league win over Chelsea in January.

Maybe Liverpool are trying to play some mind games with Chelsea but it would now be a surprise to see Salah, Nunez and Szoboszlai feature against the Blues, representing a huge blow for Klopp and co.
