NEWSJürgen Klopp confirms injuries to Joe Gomez and Darwin Nunez
Jürgen Klopp has confirmed that both Joe Gomez and Darwin Nunez have missed the Crystal Palace trip with injuries.
The pair were not part of Liverpool’s squad for Saturday night’s Premier League match at Selhurst Park, having gone against Real Madrid in the second half in midweek.
“They’re both injured,” Klopp told Sky Sports before kick-off. “So Darwin has had the shoulder problem since the match against Newcastle.
“He worked for the Real Madrid match, but then he was hit there again, he felt it again and again, so there was no chance for today. I hope can come back again mid week.
