Mohamed Salah could set a Liverpool record against Manchester United on Sunday, while Jordan Henderson and Virgil van Dijk are set to achieve milestones.

If he finds the net at Anfield, Salah will become the first player in club history to score against United in a fifth successive league game.

The only other player to do so in four consecutive games is Dick Forshaw between 1925 and 1927.

Salah also scored more goals for the Reds against United than any other player in LFC history; he has 10 appearances in his 11 to date, including seven in his last five.

This will be Liverpool’s 211th meeting in all competitions and their 180th league game. In their last six games at Anfield, the Reds have won three and drawn three, scoring nine and conceding just once.

Liverpool are two goals short of scoring 450 goals at Anfield under Jürgen Klopp in all competitions.

Henderson could make his 400th start for the club in all competitions.

Klopp has never lost consecutive league games against United.

Trent Alexander-Arnold made his first Premier League start against United at Old Trafford in January 2017. Van Dijk could play his 150th league game for the club.

The No. 4 scored in 17 games for the Reds, each of which ended in a win for his team.

Salah is one goal away from equaling Robbie Fowler’s club record in the Premier League. Fowler hit 128 in the division, while Salah moved to 127 in mid-week.

In Wednesday’s win against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Roberto Firmino broke Lucas Leiva’s club record for the most league appearances for Liverpool by a South American with his 248th.
