Liverpool take on Bournemouth after beating Manchester United 7-0 in the Premier League. With Real Madrid on the horizon, Jurgen Klopp could make some changes.

Liverpool’s confidence couldn’t be greater after beating Manchester United 7-0 in their last Premier League game.

The Reds demolished the Red Devils in the second half at Anfield, scoring a barely believable six goals after Cody Gakpo put them on late in the first half. It capped impressive form for Jurgen Klopp’s men and catapulted the side to the top of the table, rekindling their hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League. With the match against Bournemouth just around the corner before heading to the Santiago Bernabéu to face Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League, Klopp may want to make some adjustments for the south coast trip.

That said, being 17 days behind Real Madrid, Klopp might feel entitled to name such a squad. Of course it would be difficult to walk away from someone after the game against Manchester United.

Certain decisions will be enforced, with Klopp missing some first-team players as the likes of Naby Keïta, Thiago Alcântara, Joe Gomez and Calvin Ramsay are all still out. Luis Díaz is also not expected to return yet, although the return is getting closer and closer. In defence, Alisson is likely to get support from Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konaté, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson.

Even Klopp cannot change anything about the duel with Manchester United in midfield. The only exception could be Stefan Bajčetić, who could replace Fabinho to keep the Brazilian at Real Madrid. Jordan Henderson and Harvey Elliott are likely to keep their seats.

Up front, Klopp is likely to once again opt for the trio of Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo and Darwin Núñez, with the trio having scored six of Liverpool’s seven goals against Manchester United. The only question is whether Roberto Firmino or Diogo Jota could secure a starting spot to rest one of these deadly trios for Real Madrid.

Scheduled Liverpool team: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Konate, Robertson; Bajčetic, Elliott, Henderson; Nunez, Gakpo, Salah.
