Arsenal gets a boost as key stricker has speedy recovery from knee injury to aid title push
An arsenal stricker has accelerated his recovery as he nearly returns from injury.
The striker has been out since sustaining a knee medial collateral ligament injury during the World Cup.
GABRIEL JESUS underwent surgery and was expected to be sidelined for about three months.
Since then he has been hard at work on Arsenal’s training ground at London Colney.
And now the club has released photos of the Brazilian being tested. Jesus, 25, did several exercises to strengthen his knee, including walking into a pool.
A snapshot also appeared showing the Arsenal forward balancing on his injured leg.
Jesus has been on the cot for nine weeks, which means he could be back in early March.
Earlier this month, he shared photos showing him standing on the grass again as he kicks a ball.
Arsenal fans have been delighted to see him continue his progress and are hoping he will soon be available for selection. One Gooner wrote: “Like a new purchase.”
Another added: ‘The King will be back soon’
And a third said, “He too came back with a full beard. It’s over.”

Arsenal INCREASES subscription ticket prices by 5% and reduces the number of games included
Arsenal will raise their season ticket price by five per cent next season and include four fewer games than in 2022/23.
Gunners season-ticket holders currently prepay for 26 home games each season.
These include 19 in the Premier League, two home games in the FA Cup and five home games in European competitions. A discount will be given if the club does not meet these requirements, but they have now postponed plans for 2023/24 after consulting with supporters.
Season tickets for the following season include all 19 home league games, plus three extra European games.
A club statement read: “The move follows continued feedback from season ticket holders who want more flexibility in attending matches and to support our desire to make more tickets available to our growing member base.
“Removing the four cup credits from the membership will make available up to 150,000 additional match tickets for members to purchase for next season.”
As the number of required games decreases, prices increase by five percent for a general admission ticket.
Subscription prices in the lower segments will increase by six percent and in the upper segments by four percent. Arsenal, guaranteed a Champions League return as they currently top the Premier League table, have told fans they expect a £113 cut next season compared to if they had played in the league this season.
“If we qualify for the Europa League next season, adult season ticket holders will pay £76 less on average than they are currently paying this season,” he added.
